Monsanto is a safety net against starvation.

If all of you people farm your own gardens, butcher your own meat, grow your own grains, and know how to cook and store them properly for a year, then keep talking. I'll listen.

If things go according to plan, his next 2 starts will be at Milwaukee and at St Louis. Good luck with that. The guy is a one trick pony. A hard fast ball which doesn't move as much as he wants it to. I've watched it for too long in Tampa.

Good ump, bad ump, Archer doesn't get past the 6th inning anyways. He never does.

Apparently Gooseman is fine. They just wanted to give him an extra days rest and throw a curve ball at the Pirates with Bryce Wilson starting at age 20.

Mets have come all the way down to to the underdog status. Teams that play Sunday night and play again on Monday have a poor track record. This however may be overkill.

Verify? I only ask because you are betting on the Cardinals in your own thread.

I already bet the Indians and am having second thoughts. I'll let it ride, but just a few too many people on the Tribe for my liking. The Red Sox are playing on a different level than anyone else. We shall see.

These might be the two most cringe worthy offenses in all of baseball. If you gave me a free ticket to the game I'd sell it on stubhub for anything anyone would give me.

I hear it's 250' down the foul lines but a whopping 300' to straight away center. One of the managers said he'll play at least one outfielder in the bleachers every inning.

The amount of glyphosate found in these products had to be infinitesimal. Any more than that and the product would die. It's a non-discriminate plant killer.

It's active ingredient is concentrated sodium. Salt water intrusion after a hurricane will wipe out all the plant life it settles in. I've seen it first hand.

Nothing nefarious here. Media and California courts making something out of nothing.

You can make your own weed killer with salt and vinegar.

What do you do with a bunch of washed up senior citizens like Martin, Morales, and Granderson? Piss poor personnel decisions by management to begin with.

The home run theory is nothing new. Back in the 70's Orioles manager Earl Weaver's most famous quote was "The most important play in a game is the 3 run homer."

I'll take a swing at this one, Scalbo. I mean when do we ever think we can get 3 points against the Browns? This could be a once in a lifetime opportunity. football_c1

One time I lost a big no limit hold em hand with trip aces because the other player hit a flush with that last ace on the river. You realize that you make the best play possible under the circumstances, and if it loses, just move on. Nobody gets rich quick in gambling.

With the home team leading, it gives you a better chance to eke this one out. I hope you win.

Amed "the terrorist" Rosario was 3 for 39 in his last 10 games with 2 RBIs. Tonite he is 3 for 4 with 3 RBIs. You just never know.

According to the Rays press, it was a planned outing for Snell pitching just his 2nd game since coming off the DL. It was a 5 inning/75 ish pitch count whichever came first. Kevin Cash is re-inventing pitching for better or for worse.

Last time they saw a new pitcher they lit up Dylan Covey and Co. for 10 runs. KC coming off a 9 run beat down of the Cubs last game while the always overrated Cards play game 1 of their 7th road game in a row. We know who the better team is and it's not the Royals. But bet them anyways. I will.

It's funny how all the lines come out way before lineups are ever released. The oddsmaker could care less. Lineups only matter to daily fantasy players.

That was how shall we say...the exact opposite of a bad beat.

Thank you Frank Lindor and especially Cody Allen for blowing the save in the first place. an_clap
