It's difficult to say with this comp until you see the starting lineups. Lots of teams don't really take it seriously, so be careful and check how many changes each team has made.

Crawley look like a decent bet but like I said, wait for the teams to come out around an hour before KO.

Coventry vs Barnsley

New signing Simeon Jackson goes straight into the squad and starts on the bench for Coventry who have a very strong attack minded squad with the likes of McQuoid, Fleck and Tudgay. They put in a good performance in the League Cup last week, nearly knocking out Cardiff and beat a strong Sheffield United squad on Saturday. The lineup looks good enough to beat a rather depleted Barnsley team.

2* Coventry -0.25 AH @ 2.00
1* Over 2.5 goals @ 2.10

Bournemouth vs Nottingham Forest

Bournemouth have had a great start and look full of goals. Forest too have a lot of goals in them and have spent millions on attacking players such as Assombalonga, Fryatt and Antonio.

2* Over 2.75 goals @ 2.025

Late Sheffield United goal gets the push. Plenty of shots and possession but lacking in clear cut chances. Clough is a good manager and I think they will improve and do pretty well in League One.

Falkirk vs Rangers

Rangers are coming off a disappointing start to the season losing at home to Hearts but will look to bounce back against a youthful Falkirk side. Falkirk performed pretty well last season finishing 3rd, but with a new manager and the loss of a couple of key players will struggle against the quality of Rangers. New manager Peter Houston has stated recently he needs to add a couple of players of experience to the side and as of yet that hasn't happened. Look for Rangers to exploit a young Falkirk side and get back to last season's form that saw them win 33 out of 36 league games.

2* Rangers -0.75 AH @ 2.00
1* Over 2.75 goals AH @ 2.03

Sheffield United v Mansfield

The Blades have a deep squad at League One level and left a lot of firepower on the bench for their opening day loss against Bristol City. Forwards Jamal Campbell-Ryce, Jose Baxter, Chris Porter and new signing Mark McNulty were all left out of the starting lineup on the weekend and will be vying for spots in the next league game. They should have plenty goals in them going up against League Two Mansfield who went down 1-0 to Northampton on the weekend.

The new season is upon us and I want to commit to posting and tracking my tips on a regular basis. I couldn't be more excited for this upcoming season, with Sami Hyppia taking charge of my super Seagulls.

Eastleigh vs Crawley

I watched Crawley's last friendly against my Brighton side on Wednesday and they look a well organised, quick counter-attacking outfit under John Gregory. Eastleigh's squad is rather thin but experienced and Gregory will make sure Crawley do not take them lightly, despite it being a friendly.

1* Crawley @ 1.91

Be careful with Sunderland, Bake. Injuries/Suspensions, hectic relegation battle upcoming and the Capital One Cup Final to prepare for. I know first hand how Gus Poyet sets his side up for FA Cup games, it used to annoy me when he managed us and he would see the cup games as a distraction and play a rotated squad.

Ukraine vs England

I'm never normally impressed with England but Friday's performance looked as if Roy has set the team up well. This really is a massive game in terms of group qualification with only 1 point separating the two sides, both will be well up for it with Montenegro bearing down on the top spot. England have found a great blend of youth and experience with Roy seeming to have finally been able to get Lampard and Gerrard to play alongside each other with the inclusion of wonderkid Jack Wilshere. Despite Ukraine being a tough place to play, I think England have enough quality here and are a decent price at 2.80.

2* England @ 2.80

Malta vs Bulgaria

Bulgaria sit second in the group and will be looking for a crucial win away at down and out Malta. All but two players in the Maltese squad play in the Maltese league, a much lower standard than the leagues the Bulgarians play in. Bulgaria should win comfortably here.

1* Bulgaria -1.5 AH @ 2.05
