Seems like Carolina was a semi trap.   Similar to the Jets

ONe thing ive learned over the years is to not overthink things.  Keep it simple and when you have a good lean or inclination just pull the trigger.  SDSU was a text book example where ignoring the line moves and all the distracting variables, we had an overvalued ASU team coming off an upset win and is for the most part unproven with a first year DC in Gonzalez.  Public thinking it is a down year for SDSU because they lost Penny but they have a very experienced coaching staff with Rocky Long and were a home dog against a ranked team.  10 times out of 10 I'm playing SDSU in that scenario.

I don't think we're on the same page... I would be focused on Gonzales and the history he has with sdsu.... chapmans probably worth -.5 every game so it might be a good thing he's out... anyways gl with your play.

Ii was going to take SDST, you?  Sorry I didn't read your initial posts closely yesterday.

Just get out bro.  Betting is clearly giving you stress and angst and just isn't worth it if you can't control your bets and lost 5K in a week.

The way I see it, the highs of winning (when it happens) are not as fun or enjoyable compared to how shiity the feeling is when you have a losing week.  Its funny the way our (my) brain works.  When you lose your fuckkin pissed and regret betting because you could have spent that money elsewhere, likely on something that is more significant. Whereas, when you win a bet or have a winning week, its easy to be pissed or unhappy for "not having bet more" or something similar.  Bottom line - its a lose/lose.  The best way to approach it is what GG said - a hobby and for entertainment purposes only, which is perfectly fine because sports and sports betting are DAMN FUN and entertaining!!  Take some time off and don't even watch sports for the next week or two.  The break works wonders for your psyche and mental health.  Good luck man

Its just that no one cares about a bet you post TODAY with a line that is obviously several days old.  Different story if you actually bet Utah +6 and Boise +3 several days ago and posted it then.  Your just doing so now for the sake of potentially "padding your record".   Your literally adding 0 value to the forum by doing this.

It is a ton of points for Michigan to cover but Kevin Kane is in way over his head.  His defenses at NIU weren't even that impressive.  I'd buy this to 34.5 if possible to feel a little more comfortable or play FH.  GL man

Your on the right side. Home opener slight dog. Everyone panics after the "stinger" on the throwing arm and he came back into the 6hr game and threw two pics. Watson's bday tonight, road fav in divisional rivalry and the just stood up to the mighty Belicheat. Blah. Low scoring, since neither one has an offense, edge to Titans on D. Edge doesn't mean much better. Running game is the factor. GL

completely agree.  no chance Titans play as poorly as they did against the Phins.  Need Lewan back though (concussion), if he is out will be a problem for the run game and Mariota

I actually love that angle and its often overlooked.  The resumes of OC and DC are significant and can provide insight on how familiar or unfamiliar a team will be with a given opponent's style.  Will likely be on SDSU

I think atl has the better offense but philly's defense can keep them in check from scoring 40+........ A 4 pt line drop is also SCREAMING atl, and I loved them at +4.5 , but there simply is no value at a PK for me........  Low scoring Atl win17-13 final

The nugget looks like a better contest IMO.  They claim to pay out 100% of the entries and it pays the top 20% compared to only the top 10% w the Super Contest.

I'd like to join as well but don't feel like flying out for it.

Wish I was born in the 50s so I could have been a teen in the 60s like my parents.  Seemed like an awesome time to grow up.

Should have bet Utah St, came so close, damn.Wisky looked pretty flat too. My Kent St upset pick doesn't really look very good. As you said, ILL needs to win the cheap ones.Back in June I made a few bets like Neb -20.5, Ohio State -37.5, and UCLA -16.5. The UCLA bet I would take back if I could. Kelly going pro-style it seems with Speight and six suspensions make them a bit more ugly. Oh well.GL Today!

good call on Kent St....crazy outcome in the Maryland Texas game and your UCLA pick blew up!  Its really unbelievable how much value there are on underdogs week 1 of CFB.  Every....Fuckkin....year!!!

Laid the juice on Nadal the other night to eek out a small profit hedging the Thiem future.  Would have been pretty sweet though if Thiem pulled it off!  Talk about a coock tease after that first set!!
