The problem is many people in the Restaurant Industry do not have a proper " Work Ethic" . Everywhere else too. ( Lazy Fu&ks.)

Goose : You know I have been in the Biz for many years ,and it is too bad.

As one of my friends used to say  " You don't really appreciate Good Service until you get Bad Service "

How did you do @ Foxwoods Goose ?? Did you have good luck playing Baccarat ?

Good People Of Covers... I just wanted to tell you that I went to Foxwoods with The Legend himself ,Mr Goose.

After years of talking about it, We finally got it together ,and we both came up on the plus side. Goose playing Blackjack ,and me playing craps. Just want to say The Man lived up to the Hype !!!!... It was the first trip of many. Also I played Pai - Gow for the first time with him ( Not the Tiles) and held my own with him .Thanks Goose.Looking forward to going soon !!!!

Goose : You know I post rarely and I have much respect for you , But I can not agree with you about Nickleback . Kind of like drinking a watery cup of coffee ,and trying to tell yourself it's Dunkin Donuts of something like that in my opinion.

My song choice would be ' Take On Me " By A - ha .  That song is bloody awful !!!

Any Hartford Whalers fan will tell you the all time worst trade was in 1991 when we sent Captain Ron Francis & Ulf Samuelsson to Pittsburgh for 2 Sub-par players named John Cullen & Zarley Zalapski  . Pitt went onto great fame , while the Whalers never recovered from this TERRIBLE trade which pretty much finished off The Whalers a few years later.... I am sorry to say the City Of Hartford has never recovered

If you saw the Yanks at Chi- Sox game last night, You would know the Yanks are not in a good way right now .They had to play a late night game after almost a 3 hour rain delay. Then the new kid Fowler injured his knee BADLY in the 1st inning even before he had a chance to bat. Then his replacement dropped a ball in RF...Joe G looked like he was going to explode !
I just can not see The Yanks winning tonight after all that, and then having to fly to Houston to play a team better than them. The Yanks bullpen is shaky to say the least .Gimme Houston Please ( Maybe the next 2 games also.)

Agree with all you said Goose. What would Keith Richards have had w/out Chuck ??       I love his early stuff with Johnny Johnson on piano .That stuff is Gold....                .   And the one time I saw him live(  1987 @ Lake Compounce in Bristol,CT ) he was Solid.

So sorry to hear of his passing. I liked him in most of the movies he was in.    I am surprised no one has mentioned " One False Move " yet.( 1991)....This was his best movie by far...He plays a great local cop named " Hurricane" And Billy Bong plays a good villain along with another guy.

Lady Gaga will do something shocking. of course.( Yawn !!!!!!!!!!!!) She /he needs the attention .I mean will anyone remember her music in 20 or 30 years??
BTW  she /he is a man .I always believed that .Why would she /he have " Lady" at the beginning of her/his name?

Hey Scal. Thanks for your input from one who has been on here longer than most.
Cleveland has been an Under machine lately, going on the down their last 5 games.( Scoring a total of 26 points in the 2nd half of those games).    Buffalo can run the ball while Cleveland is not really good against the run.  Give me Buffalo and under.    If RG 3 beats us..........We deserve to lose.

Wasn't there an issue with Kentucky Fried Chicken a number of years back?  .I think they had to change their name to KFC because they were serving GMO chicken, and not real chicken, Yikes !!

Thanks for the info.   I have not been there in many years ,but plan to at some point.  I always make a point to stop in at the bar toward the top of the Stratosphere around sunset while i am in town. Great to see the area turn dark.A few of my friends were there recently and said the drinks were strong and not too expensive.
By the way ,Good call on UBER.
