interesting.

Just read an article where Baffert said he would be fine with Game Winner running the same race as the Rebel (2nd) but expected big things from Roadster

The OP is likely looking at this site where the odds are skewed.

All the pundits have this conference as a 2 bid conference. To be honest, VCU doesn’t impress me and that win against TX really isn’t meaningful.

Any thoughts on this game? It really is my only option for survivor but could see the Bills winning.

Oh gotcha.

I realize you won’t criticize Republicans for the same, so I’ll just leave this here (1 billion and lose the house)

Why are you avoiding the obvious response?

If you are judging losing expenditures, those of your party far exceeded that of the Dems. How weren’t they doing the same??

The Dems did spend more. Way more.
They also won more.

Since the original premise was that the candidate wasted money by losing, the Dems money was better spent.

Personally, by 2020, I see major independents winning 15% of elections. Get rid of partisan monies!

You can actually make some decent money betting politics because (shockingly) most people will bet their beliefs.

Top plays:

Dems take house

Top play: Republicans keep senate (-925 I'm seeing right now). Really a bet that is mathematically hard to lose

Individual chalk plays:

-B. Kemp Georgia- my favorite play

-Nelson Florida

-Cramer ND

-Gillum-Florida

Only possible non-chalk I see right now is McSally in AZ. Wall?

Most bets are scored within 24 hours (after the concession).

I'm interested in people's thoughts.

Let's assume Bama gets through until Thanksgiving undefeated. What would be their future wager to win the championship?

Currently, it is -150. I'm thinking it isn't too much different. They should be huge favorites the rest of the way so Vegas already figures they will enter the SEC championship without a loss.

Thanks buddy. Really was a question for anyone. Let's get this.

Right off the top of your head:

Best play of sweet 16 games?
Best value play of sweet 16 games?
Most likely upset of sweet 16 games?

I say Belgium
Uruguay
Columbia

It’s funny to see that you’re up and doing pretty good, and you’ve posted that it hasn’t felt like you had a great World Cup so far. How do you like four of my south American teams in the Sweet 16? I’m pretty happy about that.

The way I see it, Japan is the worst of the teams left so if I am Belgium or England I go for the win without any reservations whatsoever. They would have to play Brazil at some point, or somebody would knock them off. On the other side I think Columbia is a very dangerous team and played much better than their record indicates.

Thanks Van. I'll be watching this thread closely for spam, etc.

Yes, write in another format and do a couple of posts for the longer writeups if you want. The character piece is actually good because it helps to prevent spam.

Van, do you think you could do a quick premer on the 1.25, 1.75 lines etc. Every year someone asks in these threads.

Thanks buddy. Looking forward to a good world cup. I'm hoping bookmaker offers two props:

1) Will a European cup win the Cup (I'll be on no)
2) Will a South American team win the cup (I'll be on yes).

A funny story after reading the article...

last year I called bookmaker and was asking some questions about what the mangers see when looking at the accounts.

They can actually see what sports we win and lose on. I asked my best sport and he said college hoops by far (which I knew). John (the manger), then said, "tell me why you bet horses."
