Euro 2020 has been moved to June of 2021 (although UEFA is insisting that it will still be called Euro 2020) and the odds to win Euro 2020 have shifted slightly over the past few months. England (+500) remains the betting favorite to win the delayed competition but Belgium and France are right on their heels at +550.

The postponement might actually prove helpful for England as Euro 2020 favorites, with Harry Kane and Marcus Rashford expected to be back to 100 percent fitness by next summer.

Belgium on the other hand might suffer from the delay slowing down their momentum. With Belgian stars such as Eden Hazard and Kevin Bruyne about to turn 30 and Toby Alderweireld, Axel Witsel and Jan Vertonghen already in their 30s, the best players on their squad are precariously close to the downward trend of their careers.

Other Euro 2020 favorites include the Netherlands, Germany, and Spain, all knotted at +700.

The UEFA European Football Championship is a competition that takes place every four years and features 24 teams. Twenty nations have already secured themselves a spot in Euro 2020 and there are still four spots up for grabs in qualifying later this year.

How to bet Euro 2020 Futures Odds

Betting on the outright winner of Euro 2020 is an extremely popular futures betting option and odds usually come out soon after the previous Euro winner is crowned. These odds will adjust based on how countries and players perform leading up to the tournament. Sportsbooks will also adjust the soccer odds based on handle and liability with certain nations.

Futures odds are displayed in list form, showing each option and its odds – most often ranked from best chances to win to worst. You will usually see a plus (+) sign in front of a team's futures odds, like this:

  • England +500

This means that on a $100 bet, you would stand to win $500 if England won Euro 2020. As we get closer to the Euro final or if one team has been extremely dominant, you might see a country with a minus sign (-) ahead of its odds.

  • Belgium -110

This would mean that you have to bet $110 to win $100 on a Belgium Euro 2020 outright victory.
