Half of the NHL's return-to-play plan is done, with eight "Qualifying Round" series, two round-robin seeding tournaments and the first two rounds of the traditional Stanley Cup Playoffs in the books. NHL betting now has just four teams remaining, as we enter the Conference Finals.

While previous NHL playoff series odds were in two "Hub" cities - Toronto for the Eastern Conference and Edmonton in the West - the final two rounds will exclusively be in Edmonton.

Let's look at the prices for each remaining team — Vegas, Dallas, Tampa Bay and New York — to advance to the Stanley Cup Finals.

How will the new NHL playoff format work?

Following the first round of the 16-team, best-of-seven series matchups, the teams all reseeded for the second round, so that the highest remaining seed faced the lowest-ranked team in each conference.

There were technically two "upsets" in the first round, and there were again two lower-seeded teams to win in the second round. The No. 6-seeded New York Islanders blew a 3-1 series lead, but dominated the No. 1 Philadelphia Flyers in a 3-0 Game 7 win to move on in the East, while the third-seeded Dallas Stars, who also coughed up a 3-1 series lead, needed a Game 7 overtime victory to get past the No. 2 seed Colorado Avalanche.

The Islanders will now face No. 2 seed Tampa Bay Lightning, who made short work of the fourth-ranked Boston Bruins, while Dallas squares off against the top-seeded Vegas Golden Knights, who needed seven games to eliminate the Vancouver Canucks, despite heavily outplaying them all series.

How to bet NHL series prices

Betting NHL series prices is pretty straightforward, as you are just betting which team will win the series. Let’s take the Vegas Golden Knights vs. Dallas Stars series for example. The Golden Knights are listed at -243, while the Stars are on the board at +169.

The minus (-) indicates the Golden Knights are the favorite to win the series and the price means that bettors would have to wager $243 on Vegas to win $100, while a $100 bet on the underdog (+) Stars would return $169.

The odds listed above are in American format, but can easily be converted to decimal or fractional format via our odds converter tool.
