Golf betting continues in the PGA Tour’s RBC Challenge in Hilton Head, S.C. Round 4 is Sunday at Harbour Town Golf Links, where four players are tied for first and 23 more are within four strokes of the lead, and Webb Simpson remains the favorite for a third straight day.

The SuperBook at Westgate's Eric Osterman talked RBC Heritage betting post-Round 3, including sharp bets and public play heading into Sunday's final round.

RBC Heritage Round 4 odds and betting

After opening with a pair of 6-under 65s, Simpson shot 68 Saturday for a 15-under 198 total, tied with Tyrrell Hatton – who shot a blistering 63 Saturday – Ryan Palmer and Abraham Ancer. On Saturday night, The SuperBook pegged Simpson the 4/1 favorite to nab the win Sunday, followed by Hatton at 6/1, Ancer at 7/1, and Palmer and Daniel Berger 10/1.

"We are in good shape on Simpson, Hatton and Palmer," Osterman said. "Of the guys that are in contention, we need to avoid Berger, Bryson DeChambeau and Dustin Johnson."

Berger also fired a 63 Saturday and is one shot back, aiming for a second straight trophy after winning last week at Colonial. DeChambeau (16/1) and Johnson (25/1) are both three shots off the pace.

A couple of players drew dollars shortly after The SuperBook updated the odds.

"We're taking some action on Ancer, and some long shots are getting some play also: Alex Noren 80/1, Brice Garnett 100/1 and Andrew Landry 150/1," Osterman said. All three players are part of a 12-under 201 pack.

In The SuperBook's prop bet options, the winning score of 270.5 looks like it will be a liability, with so many players firing rounds in the mid-60s or better.

"The winning score prop will most likely go Under, unless the weather gets nasty. We will be a small loser on that," Osterman said.

RBC Heritage Round 3 odds and betting

Simpson was the 6/1 favorite following his opening-round 65, and he followed with another 6-under 65 Friday to stand solo first at 12-under 130. He's now the +350 co-favorite with Bryson DeChambeau, who fired a 64 for a 131 total.

"We lose a little on DeChambeau, but not too much," Wilkinson said Friday night. "Dustin Johnson and Matthew NeSmith would be really bad for us, and so would Daniel Berger, although he's six shots back."

Johnson is at 134 after a round of 66, and he's 16/1 at The SuperBook, while NeSmith (133) can still be had at 40/1. Wilkinson said Corey Conners – who shot a blistering 63 to stand one shot behind Simpson – Ryan Palmer (132, T-4) and Matthew Fitzpatrick (132, T-4) would be good for the book. Those three are at 14/1, 25/1 and 14/1, respectively.

After The SuperBook updated odds Friday night, Wilkinson said action came in on Tony Finau at 25/1 and Brooks Koepka at 12/1. Finau is in a logjam of players tied for 11th at 134, and Koepka is tied for sixth at 133.

In RBC Heritage prop bets, Wilkinson said a couple of DeChambeau markets are good for the book: to finish in the top 5 and to finish in the top 10. "A lot of money on the No for both props."

RBC Heritage Round 2 odds and betting

Ian Poulter made a massive move up the odds board after firing a 7-under 64 in Round 1 Thursday. Poulter closed 100/1 pre-tournament, but in the adjusted odds posted Thursday night at The SuperBook at Westgate, he was the 12/1 co-third choice along with Jordan Spieth. Daniel Berger, who won last week at Colonial, is likewise an issue after his opening 67.

"We need to avoid Berger, who is at 20/1 on the updated odds, as well as Poulter," SuperBook manager Eric Osterman said.

Co-leader Mark Hubbard and Viktor Hovland (65, T-3) are good for the book, currently sitting at 50/1 and 16/1, respectively. Webb Simpson, tied for third after a 65, is the 6/1 favorite, followed by Bryson DeChambeau at 10/1 after a 67.

Osterman said post-Round 1, Ryan Palmer and Sebastian Munoz – who both shot 65 – are drawing dollars at 40/1, and Tony Finau (66) is getting bets at 30/1.

Who are people betting to win the RBC Heritage?

UPDATE 1 A.M. THURSDAY: Six hours before the first group tees off, wagering at PointsBet USA is spread out. "Ian Poulter is our top liability, Xander Schauffele our No. 2," Patrick Eichner said of golfers at 66/1 and 20/1, respectively. "Webb Simpson and Brooks Koepka are tied for highest bet count." Simpson is 25/1 and Koepka 33/1. Eichner said there's also solid action on the prop of whether there will be a playoff, after seeing overtime last week at Colonial. Yes is +440 and No -770. "People having fun and taking a shot on Yes."

UPDATE 9:40 P.M. ET WEDNESDAY: BetMGM in Nevada saw liability stack up on a few golfers, thanks to one bettor who put $500 apiece on seven players. One of those bets was on Bryson DeChambeau at 14/1, and he's now the 10/1 favorite at BetMGM, with Rory McIlroy and Justin Thomas the 12/1 second choices. The other six wagers from that customer: Thomas 16/1; Xander Schauffele 20/1; Webb Simpson 25/1; Collin Morikawa 28/1; Dustin Johnson 40/1; and Matt Kuchar 45/1. Morikawa is seeing "a lot of action" in moving from 30/1 to 20/1, while Johnson tightened from 45/1 to 30/1 and Kuchar from 45/1 to 35/1.

UPDATE 7 P.M. ET WEDNESDAY: With 12 hours until the first tee shot flies, there's good action at William Hill US. "Most money by far is on Bryson DeChambeau," director of trading Nick Bogdanovich said, noting DeChambeau moved from 15/1 to the 10/1 favorite by Wednesday afternoon. "Most tickets are on Patrick Reed, then Justin Rose." That led to movements on Reed from 35/1 to 25/1, and on Rose from 30/1 to 15/1. Rory McIlroy is the 13/1 second choice, followed by Justin Thomas, who joins Rose at 15/1. In matchups, Bogdanovich said the book needs Rose (-115) over Webb Simpson, Jordan Spieth (+110) over Reed and Tony Finau (-115) over Rickie Fowler.

Perhaps most surprising is who people aren’t betting, at least not yet, and that would be the favorite McIlroy. In fact, he’s loosened a tick from 12/1 to 13/1. Last week at Colonial, McIlroy entered Sunday fully in contention and shot an ugly 74. So early bettors are looking elsewhere.

“The exposure is fairly minimal to this point, but we are dodging a few guys to win. There was a significant bet on Thomas at 16/1,” Beyers said, noting a sharp bet moved Thomas to 13/1. “Based on the Thomas bet, we had to go up from 12 to 13 on McIlroy, to make them co-favorites.”

Beyond that, you have to scroll down the odds board a bit to get to the next concern for Caesars' books: Matt Kuchar. Beyers said the book has some exposure on Kuchar at 40/1, but didn’t move the number.

RBC Heritage sharp bets

Along with the aforementioned Thomas wager, a medium and a long shot also drew some respected money early in the week: Billy Horschel at 75/1, moving him to 50/1, and Harold Varner III – who shot 63-66 in the first two rounds at Colonial – at 150/1, helping cut his price in half to 75/1.

That has Caesars facing liability on those two, as well as Thomas and Kuchar.

Which prop bets are people betting in the RBC Heritage?

A trio of head-to-head matchups is getting attention at Caesars' books, including Brooks Koepka against Dustin Johnson.

“Sharp money on Koepka -110 Monday night, but another sharp came over the top (Tuesday) and bet DJ EVEN money, so we’re at DJ -115/Koepka -105,” Beyers said. “We also got hit by respected money on Rickie Fowler against Branden Grace and took a punch on Patrick Reed -105 against Jordan Spieth.”

The Fowler-Grace match moved from a -110 pick ‘em to Fowler -125/Grace +105, and Reed moved to -120, with Spieth even money.
