We're down to four teams with perfect records through the opening three weeks of the new English Premier League betting season – and that number will shrink by at least one following this weekend's 10-game slate.

Liverpool has nine points through three matches, and the defending champions are an overwhelming soccer betting favorite to keep that run alive against 2-0 Aston Villa. There are a host of other intriguing matches on the weekend calendar, including Manchester United squaring off against Tottenham.

Here are our top Premier League betting plays for Matchweek 4:

Premier League Predictions for Matchday 4

Leeds vs Manchester City (Saturday, 12:30 pm ET)

Imagine our disappointment at seeing Leeds United produce only one goal in last week's shutout victory at Sheffield United. The recently-promoted club had made waves in the first two weeks, ending up on both ends of back-to-back 4-3 decisions – and we could see plenty of goals this weekend as Leeds tangle with a City team that is the odds-on favorite to win the EPL title.

Expect Leeds to take the same approach as it did in a thoroughly entertaining 4-3 setback to Liverpool in Matchweek 1: Push the tempo, force Man City into mistakes and hope to score more goals than the visitors. And while that probably won't work, we see these teams producing a lot of scoring chances, so we're leaning toward Man City and the O3.5 as a tantalizing combo.

PREDICTION: Manchester City and Over 3.5 Goals (+130)

Arsenal vs Sheffield United (Sunday, 9 am ET)

Sheffield United have the humbling distinction of being the only Premier League team that has yet to score a goal, having been blanked in consecutive matches by Wolverhampton, Aston Villa and Leeds. That last one has to sting, since Leeds had gone into that Matchweek 3 encounter having surrendered seven goals over its first two games of the season.

Things don't get any easier against an Arsenal club that has wins in two of its first three league games and has given up just four goals, three which came in a loss to Liverpool last weekend.

Following back-to-back games against the defending champs at Anfield, the Gunners will be happy to return home and wreak havoc on a Sheffield offense that has shown nothing to date.

PREDICTION: Arsenal clean sheet (+100)

Manchester United vs Tottenham (Sunday, 11:30 am ET)

Neither the Red Devils nor Spurs can be all that thrilled with their start to the new campaign as they prepare to lock horns Sunday at Old Trafford. Man United followed up a stunning 3-1 loss at Crystal Palace with a knee-knocking 3-2 triumph at Brighton last weekend, while Tottenham have just four points from their first three league games.

But while these teams are closely matched in talent and coaching, the schedule is working squarely against Spurs. Sunday's encounter will mark Tottenham's fourth game in an eight-day span, with Carabao Cup and Europa League matches sandwiched between Matchweeks 3 and 4. That packed schedule could very well be Spurs' undoing in a tough league matchup.

PREDICTION: Manchester United (-118)
