Formula 1 shifts gears as it makes its final stop ahead of the summer break at the Hungaroring, home of the Hungarian Grand Prix.

Last week's French GP spelled more disappointment for Ferrari and their title-chasing driver Charles Leclerc. The Ferrari superstar crashed out in the middle stages of the race, opening the door for a comfortable Max Verstappen victory.

That win extends his lead in the Drivers' title race to 63 points and provides some more cushion for Max atop the Drivers' Championship odds board.

Will Red Bull continue to apply pressure ahead of the break or will Ferrari respond? Check out our full Hungarian GP odds below to see who's favored ahead of the race and read our Hungarian Grand Prix picks for more.

Charles Leclerc (+150)

Last weekend's French GP was lining up to be a much-needed victory for Ferrari's Charles Leclerc prior to crashing out on Lap 18, finishing with zero points for the third time this season.

Those early-season setbacks have turned into likely-insurmountable damages for Leclerc and the Ferrari crew, who now sits 63 points back of Verstappen in the Drivers' Championship and 82 points back in the Constructors'.

However, starting from third at a track that suits his car, Leclerc has a good shot at getting the season back on track with a win in Budapest.

Carlos Sainz (+225)

Carlos Sainz did well to finish fifth after starting at the back of the grid last weekend and was as high as third late in the race prior to a questionable pit stop decision from the Ferrari crew. That finish combined with the fastest lap secured Ferrari's only points for the weekend.

Sainz looked to be primed for his second-career pole position during Saturday's qualifying but will start second, after a surprising pole lap from...

George Russell (+285)

To the surprise of everyone, Mercedes' George Russell pulled the fastest lap in Q3 out of nowhere Saturday, taking the first pole position of his career. Despite Russell at the front of the grid and Mercedes' improved pace in recent races, the Brit is third on the odds board for Sunday's Grand Prix.

Understanding F1 betting odds

The most popular way to bet on Formula 1 odds is by simply picking the winner of a particular race. Other popular F1 betting options include which car/constructor will win and whether or not a particular race car driver will end up on the podium with a Top-3 finish.

F1 race odds usually look like this:

  • Sergio Perez +1,400

This means that on a $100 bet, you'll stand to profit $1,400 if Perez wins that particular race. If one driver is especially dominant, you might see a minus sign (-) ahead of that driver's odds like this:

  • Max Verstappen -120

This means that you would need to bet $120 to win $100 on Verstappen winning the race.
