Belgian Grand Prix Prix favorites

Max Verstappen (+175)

Between a dominant Red Bull car and repeated errors from his biggest challengers in Ferrari, Max Verstappen reached the summer break with a comfortable 80-point lead in the championship.

After taking the first Belgian Grand Prix of his career last season — sort of, after the race was more-or-less rained out — Verstappen will enter the race as the favorite in Spa once again.

Carlos Sainz Jr. (+200)

Ferrari's Carlos Sainz benefited from a host of engine penalties, as he'll start from pole position despite not posting the quickest time. Ferrari's largely underwhelmed in sessions so far this weekend, but anything except for a podium finish for the Spaniard would be a letdown.

Sergio Perez (+300)

The same can be said for Red Bull's Sergio Perez, who will start on the front row next to Sainz. Perez was quickest overall in FP3 on Saturday morning and is enjoying what is clearly a Red Bull-dominated track.

Understanding F1 betting odds

The most popular way to bet on Formula 1 odds is by simply picking the winner of a particular race. Other popular F1 betting options include which car/constructor will win and whether or not a particular race car driver will end up on the podium with a Top-3 finish.

F1 race odds usually look like this:

  • Sergio Perez +1,400

This means that on a $100 bet, you'll stand to profit $1,400 if Perez wins that particular race. If one driver is especially dominant, you might see a minus sign (-) ahead of that driver's odds like this:

  • Max Verstappen -120

This means that you would need to bet $120 to win $100 on Verstappen winning the race.
