The Heritage site issues didn't happen to affect me today, but I'll take the $50. I've had issues with offshores before, they usually tell you to go pound sand. They could have done nothing but chose to do the right thing. Good business in my opinion.

My pet peeve would basically be laziness with vocabulary. I think I heard refer to three different guys as "cornerstones" during the Rams-Seahawks game tonight.

hutasadorn, might not make it to 2-1. If so, go for it (maybe), but if it settles out above 3-1, IMO you'd be depleting all of the value of your bet by hedging. Beware of sportsbook.com as well.

Good
luck! Do you ever get paid by sportsbook? I love the Phils at +600,
but in my experience, Sportsbook.com sucks when it comes to getting
paid. I've cashed out there a long time ago but it took forever. Plus I've heard terrible things. Not trying to burst your bubble, +600 is a good value I think. I'd love to find that line at a safer book.

Sportsbook.com is always slow adjusting their lines. I remember when the Celtics landed Garnett I put $10 on them at 100 to 1. Took them like 4 months to pay, but I got it. Wish I had done more. Good luck to you guys. I wanna get in but there's no lines on my books yet.

Where are you guys getting 6-1?

Sportsbook.com still has them at 6 to 1. Too bad that would be like winning monopoly money.

Kinda leaning this way for tomorrow. Any constructive reasons why I should not?

I might take the points though depending on what I can get in the morning. |

Lowery's pick six saved a lot of Jets backers including myself. If he had just run out of bounds the game would have been over though. Why put the ball back in Favre's hands with the chance of a quick TD, onside kick, then field goal? All's well that ends well for the Jets, but if that unlikely scenario went down that would be a big topic on SportsCenter tomorrow.

I was thinking that with the Vikings out of timeouts, you'd just go down or run out of bounds after an interception.

. Am I missing something or shouldn't Lowery have just ran out of bounds with that pick?

Both the pitcher and the batter must pick a side to start the at bat, and each can switch once during the at bat, after the first pitch...
The new rules regarding ambidextrous pitchers are as follows: • The pitcher must visually indicate to the umpire, batter and runner(s) which way he will begin pitching to the batter. Engaging the rubber with the glove on a particular hand is considered a definitive commitment to which arm he will throw with. The batter will then choose which side of the plate he will bat from. • The pitcher must throw one pitch to the batter before any "switch" by either player is allowed. • After one pitch is thrown, the pitcher and batter may each change positions one time per at-bat. For example, if the pitcher changes from right-handed to left-handed and the batter then changes batter's boxes, each player must remain that way for the duration of that at-bat (unless the offensive team substitutes a pinch hitter, and then each player may again "switch" one time). • Any switch (by either the pitcher or the batter) must be clearly indicated to the umpire. • There will be no warm-up pitches during the change of arms. • If an injury occurs the pitcher may change arms but not use that arm again during the remainder of the game. |
