SEC is 11-10 vs Big East and climbing. Florida will play Louisville & chance UK or UF could play Syracuse in title game. If the Big East is best conference I'd say the SEC has held their own this year for a change. Will be better next year.

Florida is 0-2 vs Big East but both were on road, 3 point shooting teams can lose to anyone on road. Syracuse was 1 of those losses, which Marquette did not win against them either. SEC was 10-10 vs Big East this year. Big East is the better conference overall but just showing that SEC held their own against them. I just like this spot for Florida, too many people of Marquette.

Sorry Marquette is 1-2 vs SEC. I did not realize they beat Ole Miss. Still like Florida +2

I see alot of love for Marquette tonight. I have only seen them play a couple of times. Once at LSU, a loss. The other they played at home against Vandy and got run out of the gym. I saw someone post that Marquette can defend the 3. Vandy and Florida are comparable and Marquette sure could not defend the 3 against them. The SEC is not a great basketball league but they do have athleticism that most of the other conferences don't. I am wondering if this is why Marquette lost at LSU and was smoked by Vandy. I say this is the intangible tonight and Florida moves on.

Marquette can guard the perimiter? Kind of like they did at home against Vandy, 3 pt shooting team, where they got run out of the gym?

Marquette played at home against Vandy, a team that relies heavy on 3, earlier this year and got smoked. Marquette also lost at LSU. They are 0-2 vs SEC this year. I say they go 0-3 as Florida will score plenty to beat Marquette.

Ill State is playing very good basketball. They beat Wichita State and almost Creighton, lost in OT, in MVC tourney. They followed that up with a win AT Ole Miss which had previously only lost at home to Vandy and Florida(Sweet 16 team). They were an underdog in that game and won straight up. Stanford is in the PAC 12, the worst Big 6 conference by far this year. +8.5 is way too many as I would not be surprised if they win the game outright.

I wish one of those teams would hire Anthony Grant and Bama could get Shaka. I know those jobs are better than Bama so not going to be lucky enough.

Don't get too confident. Ill State has buried 9 three's in just the 1st half at Ole Miss in NIT. I am not sure Bama hit but 1 the whole game. I am starting to wonder if Bama will be able to score enough. Florida hit 10 itself against Bama the other day.

Also, don't count out VCU. I know you said they are not in same league as Wichita State but I remember Bama turning them over and beating Wichita State. VCU is a turnover machine. They really turned Bama over much more than anyone else this year and almost beat Bama when they were playing good at that.

Why is Creighton so bad defensively? If they are leaving shooters open or turning it over leading to easy baskets Bama has capitalized this year against those teams. The teams they have struggled against are those that cover good or have a sophisticated defense to appear they have them covered. Bama has capable shooter as Randolph, Cooper, and Lacey all three shot 35% or better in high school from three point range with Cooper almost at 40%. They have each had moments just have not put it together. If they can't cover Bama shooters I really like our chances.

What I am banking on is that Cooper, Randolph, and Lacey were all great shooters in high school and each have shown bright moments throughout the season but have not consistently put it together. That said Creighton at 230ish in defense leads me believe that they must be leaving guys open, not have much of an inside presence, or turning it leading to easy baskets. It they are leaving guys open or turning it over I can see Bama scoring plenty to win this game. Bama's shooters have shot very good this season when left open.

Buckeye You and I think alike. I do think Duke, UNC, Baylor, and Syracuse will go fast. I have not got the time to do it but if someone knows a of team losing by 30 and winning the NCAA tourney let me know. UNC does not play defense and it will cost them.

If you got a better comparison throw it out there. UK is much better than Bama. UK is a #1 seed right? After UK dismantles Wichita State, if they even beat VCU, get back with me. I have not attacked anything you have said on here. I know more about SEC basketball than you do.

Them having to win the conference tourney to get in is why they got the #15 seed. They are a dangerous team but not against a #1 maybe like a #3 and below.

The game is now to lose as many as you can, just have the talent, to get in the tourney. Wins and losses don't matter anymore.

I have no doubt the MVC conference has some very good teams in Wichita State and Creighton. I do think that Vandy was missing a player or two in that game against Indiana State though.

That is a good point. Bama did not hit but two 3's against Wichita State and still won. Very good insight there.
