Okay, I worked in the legal profession for most of my working life in Las Vegas and this is the source of my pension. I am not even going to tell you what my job was as it might scare you off. However, once the money is deposited, you can then look me up as a former official with the State. I think I know most every licensed attorney in Las Vegas and in Carson City. Moreover, I know just about every scam that was perpetrated there. That is why we need a third party as you are just an internet poster and who knows whether you will honor your wagers. Name the attorney of your choice and let's get it on. Moreover, I say we both put up 9900 now and winner take all. I am tired of all the BS on this BB and once again, I am waiting for your pm.

Mafiosa,
Sorry for one more post. I just spoke by telephone with a retired sports book manager from the 4 corners (Flamingo/Strip) who is willing to hold the cash. He is solid with an impeccable reputation and he is a Catholic family man who goes to church every Sunday. We can meet him after Mass on the East Side not far from the Strip. He will hold the money and I am ready to send him the cash. Please, if you are honest about this, let's get this on right away. |

Okay Mafiosa, this will be my last post, but I will be there from the first week in October until the end of December. Please email me as I am ready for this challenge. I will send you several names of independent, well known personalities in Las Vegas who will hold the money until this challenge is over. I have already contacted a few and the rules, as you state, are agreed upon. Let's start off with $9900 in deposits to escape the reporting rule. Let's make these deposits before the the Hall of Fame game. Moreover, there are a few side bets waiting in the wings from so old friends in Las Vegas who would like to wager on the outcome. I'm waiting and this is no bull.

Okay Uncle Gimp,
I just finalized my 3 month condo stay in Las Vegas for the NFL season. Since you called me an idiot, I would like to meet you during this time at a neutral site to bet the NFL without any juice. I know lots of locals who will hold the wagers without any charge and, of course, I know all the shops where this is possible. The only condition is we wager from a nickel to a dime on each game, otherwise it is not worth the trouble. There is a highly regarded radio personality who writes for the DRF and hosts many broadcasts who will hold the wagers. Please respond before the start of the pre-season. This offer is serious and I look forward to a head on head match up with you. |

This guy bets baseball. Why would anyone stay at an MGM property that deals a 20 cent line in baseball? Clearly, his supporters on this page have no idea what it takes to win in Las Vegas. When I lived there, you could find lines at cheap as 5 cents and I bet, for the bigger player, I could still find a sports book manager who took a 5 cent line, if you bet under five dimes. Obviously, he is staying at the dump know as the IP and every Strip property in walking distance deals this horrible line. My take, this guy should stay home until he learns more what Las Vegas is all about.

Okay, first of all this guy says he is a card
counter and he says nobody calls it “21”. May I remind him that Edward
Thorp's book, which started the entire ensuing counting era, which took Vegas
for millions, was entitled, “Beat the
Dealer/A Winning Strategy for the Game of 21”.
Clearly, if this "wasted player" is a card counter, he knows little of the history
of the game. He doesn’t even use the
term the professionals players use. Moreover,
I lived in Las Vegas
for over 20 years and most of the dealers I knew stated the number of “21
tables” in their shop and which 21 tables the pit bosses assigned to them. This term was their commonplace
language. Obviously, this guy is a
newbie to my former town. Again, my
take, he will drink too much, gamble too much, and lose most of his money. Since, my pensions are based in part on this
kind of player, I wish him luck, but I know he and many others who know little
of the odds in this town, will continue to fund my retirement checks. Please, keep coming back. We need you whether you stay at the Wynn or the dump known as the IP.: A Winning
Strategy for the Game of Twenty-Beat the Dealer: A Wi nning
Strategy for the Game of Twenty-One (Random House 1962, 1966 House 1962, 1966).

I take back what I said. As he said, he is all about gambling while being intoxicated and wasted until the wee hours of the morning. Vegas was made for this kind of self indulgence. He will probably be so drunk 24/7, there is no way he will be able to hold his own in 21, dice, or whatever game he chooses. My bet, after a few hours, he will only be able to afford a dump to sleep it off.

I don't get it. If you are going to Vegas for a fun trip (which I do a quite frequently), why would you stay in a cheap dump. Spend a little more and really enjoy the trip. If you can't afford it, you should just as well stay home and wait till your personal economy turns around. Vegas, no longer, is for food stamp crowd.

My experience in the last few years...Using a specialized sports book card at another major place, a little over $15000 in sports bet yielded me a $30 food comp, but the manager rounded it up to $40. He told me a $500 bet equaled a $1 comp. With my date, 4 glasses of wine used up about $28 of the comp and I had to reach into my wallet to pay the rest of the bill. Clearly, they don't comp sports bettors, so I threw the card away.

I have been going to the Orleans since they opened in 1996. They have been charging a resort fee for the last several years, which is now up to $6 a day. On the card they give you, one of the most egregious reasons they assert for charging this fee is "free parking". Can you believe this? No casino charges for parking on the strip or off strip. What if you take a shuttle or cab to the Orleans. Will they give you a reduced resort fee. Vegas is becoming like those airlines that charge you for a bottle of water or for carrying on a bag. Soon, the Orleans will justify the resort fee by stating they give you "free" toilet paper in the bathroom. The Orleans is a great place but this fee is purely greed at its worst. What a bunch of horseshit.

I almost hate to mention this 'cause I don't want the rent to go up, but this is my 4th consecutive stay at the Holiday Royale. I go every fall during football season for 2 months, staying at the Orleans a week before and after. The rent for a studio with full frig, stove, microwave, tv, phone, and all utilities (without maid service) is 830 per month. I just checked out last week. They hit you with a state tax the first month, but if you are a regular with a good history, they might waive this by reducing your rent the first month. All of the front office people actually reside there, so they are a little more careful of accepting tenants. The disadvantages are the planes, but they were minimal this year (I think the flight pattern changed) and the thin walls. I had noisy neighbors, but they turned down the sound once I informed them. If you take ear plugs, you won't have a problem. If you go, tell Kathy, Michella, Shirley, or Bryan, the Gulf Coast Texan recommended this place.

Sound like you are not ready for Vegas as the town will probably eat you alive. If you go, here are a few links: https://stationsportsconnection.com/ https://www.vegasinsider.com/nfl/odds/las-vegas/ https://wizardofvegas.com/guides/sports-survey/ https://forums.viewfromvegas.com/user/Discussion.aspx?id=250557&gmtOffset=-300 Plus, there are other phone accounts available if you live in Nevada |
