i was there live.  you could hear the hit on james over the crowd noise.  it was like rocky hitting the meet.  it was ken mauer's call.  tony mistaken lose control of the game with 2.6 seconds flargrant 2 BROTHERS had block, but clearly wasn't sure.  they looked at each other.  Brothers didn't overule Mauer.  And then gave the game to the Warriors.  Cheapens the game.  Real time is different than slow motion.

i had boston big in games one and two.  cleveland is the only play in game three; but that's an awful lot of points.

big question, how come ty lue DID NOT play Clarkson in game two?

I haven't been posting this year.  But I've been betting.  I win around 53 percent.  So I win and lose.  I took Boston in game one for two reasons: the home playoff record; and the revenge factor from their previous regular season home blow out to the Cavs in February.  And that they've been playing well.

Honestly, I wouldn't have been surprised if Cleveland had won.  But I learned Boston is better than Indiana.  They have three stars-- Horford, Brown and Tatem.  AND MARCUS SMART.  Plus, Boston has the genius-- Coach Stevens.

Cleveland has Labron and Kevin, some Korver and an emerging Thompson.  I like Boston in game two and Cleveland in game 3

Philly isn't a dog anymore.  Overnight they're a favorite!

Boston wins because of they're undefeated in the playoffs at home.  And Philly is tooooo young emotionally.  Embid jawing with a lesser player in a close-out game.  Strange!  We'll see

IF I WERE TO WRITE A LONGER POST, THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT I'D SAY.   I make my pick on the covers contest every day.  But life's got busier.  Still into it as always.  Warriors look much stronger than I'd anticipated.  I had Boston in game seven, but without Jaylen Brown Philly will be tough.  We'll see.  Brad Stevens is dope (to coin a younger person's phrase).  Thx for commenting.  I hate that Rubio went down.

It seems the Pacers have played Cleveland tough all year at Cleveland.  I see Labron grinding out a close one.  Is this crazy?  AND, finally there was another Olidipo sighting.

THANKS EVERYONE FOR CHIMING IN.  THE LINE KEPT RISING.  IT STARTED AT ORLANDO +5 AND ENDED AT ORLANDO +6.5.  Because of the positive respones on this thread, I kept pounding Orlando and the points early and ofen.  Time to relax for a week.  Happy all-star break!

Two things, why is he bringing his A game?  He played for the magic?  Two, he's bringing his A game all season.  And Charlotte is having a worse season than the last three.

I'm enjoying the thread.  Last ten ats: Charlotte 3-6-1.  Magic 7-3.  Can't wait for tip off.

I really appreciate the feedback.  The point about Charlotte barely edging the suns (AND NOT COVERING) and their poor road record helped.  The line creeped up to 5.5.  Cool game to analyze.

You bet it is.  Charlotte has thrown in the towel.  The cancer Dwight Howard, that same Dwight Howard who could barely get a winning record with James Harden at Houston, keeps getting his numbers while the Hornets keep losing.  He smiles all the way to the bank.  And the Hornets keep descending towards lottery balls.  Super Mario is starting to play in the absence of injured Aaron Gordan.  And the tandem of Shelvin Mack and DJ Augustin make up for the huge loss of Elfrid Hair-do.  Bismack can hang with Dwight.

Last ten ats; check it out: Charlotte is losing and Orlando is winning.

You guys on board?  Or am I crazy?  Oh, I already know the answer to the latter.  Let me know.  I had Orlando at Chicago +5.  I had Tornonto -3 @ Charlotte.

Your thoughts cappers?

the hawks started at +6, why'd you lay off that if you predict the hawks will win.  historically, the two teams play close the first game of their annual 4 game series in charlotte.  Atlanta may be down; but so is Charlotte.  Atlanta improved by subtraction by getting ready of Cancer Howard.  Now MJ added the Cancer Howard to his Charlotte squad.

in your scenerio, three guys on durant, three guys on curry, two thompson and one on za za and one on green.  that's ten men.  cleveland only has five.  try double team curry and durant and let thompson, green and za za beat you.  but cavs don't have guards who play D.
