pretty much jamal charles vs carson palmer. and the raiders WRs drop alot of palmers passes so i flip a coin and roll with charles and the chiefs... division rivalry will be close something like when the broncos played at arrowhead and beat the chiefs 17-9. xcept chiefs get off the snide this week.. wat does swami think?

This by no means a sure pick, but I'm confidant Washington will pull this out. Not because of last week's loss to the Steelers. But if you've watched and followed the Ravens this season like I have, you'll notice that they simply are NOT the same team that they used to be in the past. The defense can't stop the run and the secondary is suffering without Webb. Ngata hasn't been the same force he was last year. Suggs (if he even plays), who knows how effective he'll be with the torn bicep. To me, this a lot of red flags for Baltimore. They've played horrible for three week in a row, and in finally caught up to them last week. The Redskins however have been rolling, winning three straight. Washington's offense matches up so well against that banged up Ravens defense. Now unless the Redskins play defense like they did last week against the Giants, Flacco could have a very good game as well. So far this year he has under preformed on the road, to say the least. But this is a secondary that has given up a lot of yards and big plays. Maybe the Redskins have turned a new leaf, but not likely. Expect this game to go down to the last possession. My guess Redskins 30 Ravens 27 COULDNT AGREE MORE

AFC has also been owning the NFC in their matchups of recent. I think AFC/NFC matchups give the home team more of an edge with the exception being the cowboys at home. and these AFC/NFC matchups have seemed to trend over the o/u line i have noticed

agree. that game was a mess and they were able to score TDs. i was quite surprised myself wwhile seeing the bad conditions during the game Quote Originally Posted by farr18:

i'm thinking Washington is a lock against STL. covering -3.5 should be easy for the skins, their D is stopping the run and McNabb vs. a first year rookie.. I'll like my chances... shutting down S. Jackson will be top priority, if the raiders can get a little bit of offense going against the rams D, I expect Shannahan to have a field day

Over 42 ; Raiders +10
On the road the raiders do better, there in SoCal, nice weather, both teams will look to run the ball; defensive edge ypg slightly to the raiders; but Rivers can throw better than Russell;
see San Diego winning but how much will depend on the D
Good luck
