Weatherspoon is back for this game so they Saints will not be able to run all over the Falcons again. The defense will also not miss a million tackles like last game.
Look for some better redzone conversions and Falcons win it easily.

I will tell you one thing, the falcons were missing perhaps their best defensive player in weatherspoon the first game. (I know the saints were missing sproles). What I'm trying to say is that the Saints are not gonna run all over the Falcons like in the first game. If they win, it will be through the air.

The Falcons also missed a million tackles the first game. I expect for them to be up more and focused for this revenge game. They also had a lot of trouble with red zone conversion the first game. They are trying some new things, and I fully expect them to bring out some new goal line plays they haven't used before.

Personally I think the Falcons win by double digits, but I'm a Falcons homer (if you couldn't tell already)

0-2 to start the season (-2.2*)

Washington Wizards +2

The Wizards are not as bad as their 0-5 record thus far. They have been in every game all the way till the final buzzer. Their lineup is getting comfortable playing with each other and without John Wall. Their offense has struggled shooting the ball, but the Bobcats come in allowing opponents to shoot almost 50% from the field. This is a good spot for them to get their first win of the season.

The Bobcats are coming off an overtime win against the Mavs on Saturday thanks in large part to their 21 offensive rebounds. The Mavs were dead last in opponent offensive rebounds coming into that game. The Bobcats will not be so fortunate against the Wizards who are good on the defensive boards.

Sacramento Kings -2.5 (2*)

Portland’s starting 5 have been playing heavy minutes this year with Batum and Aldridge top 10 in the league in minutes per game and Lillard and Matthews also in the top 15 in minutes. This is their 3rd game in 4 days and their fatigue started to show in the 4th quarter of last night’s game. Blazers’ defense has also struggled all year allowing opponents to shoot at 49.8% from the field which is 2nd worst only to Cleveland.

The Kings are without Demarcus Cousins, but they have been better off without him this year. He has the 2nd worst plus-minus on their roster only slightly better than James Johnson. The Kings are one of the top teams in the league in pace this game and they should be able to take advantage of the Blazer’s fatigue.

Brooklyn Nets -6 (2*)

This is the final game of a long road trip for the Cavs until they get 3 days offs before their next game. I’m not sure they have much left in the tank when looking forward to their 3 day break. They have given up over 100 points in every game this season and have the worst opponent shooting percentage in the league.

The Nets have been a halfcourt team this year and the Cavs should not pose much of an opposition to their offense tonight.

Raptors/Pacers U185.5

Toronto is coming off a triple overtime loss last night where DeRozen played 60 minutes. The Pacers offense has been poor to start the season without Danny Granger only averaging 90.4 points and shooting 41% so far

Bulls -2.5

This should be a half court battle between two veteran teams. The Celtics have been awful defending the paint this year and particularly defending penetration from the opposition guards. Only the Mavs, Trailblazers, and Pistons have allowed more points in the paint a game this season. The injury to Kirk Hinrich for the Bulls may be a blessing in disguise as it forces Nate Robinson into the starting lineup. Robinson is a tougher matchup for the Celtics to defend and he should have a big game scoring tonight. Bulls should also have the advantage in rebounding and offensive rebounding in the game.

Trail Blazers -3

The hawks have been struggling to score as of late and two big pieces on that offense are questionable for tonight in Josh Smith and Lou Williams. So far this season their offense has gone as to how Lou Williams have gone. First two games Lou has averaged 20.5 pts while the team has average 98.5 pts. In their last 3 games, Lou has averaged 7.33 pts while the team is just putting up 84.66 pts.  On the other side,  the Blazers have given up a lot of points this season but it has been against some of the top offenses in the league in Dallas, LAL, OKC, and LAC. I don’t think the Hawks will give them much trouble defensively tonight with Lou and Smith questionable.
