Great call. I worry a lot about that MSU game. I am leaning towards Minnesota covering, but really could see a Minny upset at home.

Heck, I am thinking of ML parlay: Mississippi State + Colorado State!

I like the Panthers (UW-Milwaukee) in this spot. Detroit hasn't beat Milwaukee in their last four meetings. Detroit hasn't beat Milwaukee on their home floor since 2008.
In the past, UWM has used a win against Detroit to spur a sizable run in the Horizon League. I think that Detroit matches well with Milwaukee, but both teams are capable of being inconsistent. If Milwaukee shoots the three well and Tony Meier shows up, than I consider taking +6 with lots of value, also considering I am seeing a lot of these games in the Horizon end much, much closer. If this is anything above +5 there is great value for me and my bet. Not sure I would pull the trigger on ML. |

Why not just pull that into a round robin?

Wisconsin is my lean as well. They have already matched their conference road win total from 2010-11. As much as they have been so up and down this year and the normally reliant Taylor hot & cold as well, Wisconsin is truly playing its best ball right now on the road in conference.
This year at home, Minnesota is 1-2 against ranked opponents, and Taylor averages what, less than 5 points in his games against the Gophers. I think the difference maker here tonight is Taylor building off his solid performance and building off a disappointing loss to a very good Ohio State team. My book has it as a pick-em, but the over/under 115 is interesting. I could see this thing creeping right over that 115 mark to about 116-118. |
