Yes I realize his lifetime era means nothing in this spot. The drop in velocity is a tad concerning. What I meant was that I like the +101 value today. I think Boston’s bats really wake up this series. I’ll take Sale and company at +101 any day against a banged up Yankees squad with Paxton on the hill. 16 hits and 9 earned runs given up in his 9.1 |

Does anyone else play two teamer moneyline parlays? Is it a bad strategy long term? I have had recent success with picking two teams straight up. No more. No less. Does anyone else use this strategy? Trying to avoid teams where I lay too much juice. Thinking of starting with a $50 wager and seeing how far I can take it. Does anyone have input on two basketball teams tonight that can start a streak? |

9/3 LSU @ Wisconsin This is a gift from the books. Wisconsin over 17 points. Home opener against an overrated LSU team. A college football game is a long game with plenty of clock stopping. Wisconsin's offensive lineman will be able to create running lanes for the run game. Wisconsin runs the ball well enough to get into field goal range plenty of times today. LSU will turn the ball over at least twice today. This could mean a few short fields for the Wisconsin offense. Over 17 points.

9/3 Oklahoma @ Houston Oklahoma is a national powerhouse. They have one of the best offenses in the country. They were 14th last year in plays per game with 81.1. Houston is going to try to beat them with their own high paced offense. Houston was 16th in the country last year with 80.5 snaps per game. You can expect this to be a back and fourth highly paced game. Both offenses will be looking to force the ball down the field very quickly. I don't think Houston's defense is ready for what Oklahoma is going to bring to the table. Sooners over 40 points today.

1-1. 9/3 Missouri @ WVU West Virginia was good for 8th in the country last year when it comes to offensive plays per game. They averaged 83.7 plays a game last year. Missouri plays at a slower pace but will have to speed things up when they fall behind the potent WVU offense. The offense should be electric in the home opener. Look for WVU to get up to the line and snap the ball as fast as they can. I'm taking over 30 points for the Mountaineers.

9/1 Indiana @ FIU Indiana will run their offense just about as fast as anyone this year. They averaged 82.7 offensive plays per game last year. They sped things up even faster at the end of last year, averaging 88.3 plays per game in their last 3 contests last year. FIU averaged 70 offensive plays per game last year, good enough for about 88th out of 128 teams. They are at the lower end of the pack but are going to have to speed things up tonight while playing catch up to the Hoosiers offense. Indiana will light up the scoreboard and force it down the field quickly tonight. Hoosiers over 37 points tonight. |

9/1 Charlotte @ Louisville Charlotte's individual team total tonight should be set right around 10.5 points. Last year they averaged 81.7 plays per game. All they really need is one solid drive, one Louisville mistake, or Louisville to rest some defensive starters at the end. Louisville was right in the middle of the pack last year with offensive plays per game at 72.2. Neither team will be milking the play clock. Fairly up tempo game. With the amount of plays the Charlotte offense will run tonight, I'm taking over 10.5 points from them.

I will be focusing on individual team over/unders this year. I started realizing towards the end of last year how profitable they can be when only having to deal with one team's total during a game. With plays per game and play clock analysis, this has my focus this year. Slow and steady wins the race. We are all about to run a marathon, not a sprint. Good luck this year boys lets crush the books.

If you want to build a wall, lay one brick at a time. YTD: 0-1. $(-145) Toronto Blue Jays -105 I'm going back to the well. On paper, the White Sox have a starting pitching advantage. R.A. Dickey has the reputation of someone who is capable of being smacked around, and this can be true. However, the Blue Jays still hold Major League Baseball's highest OBPS at .777. The White Sox own the league's second worst OBPS at .656. The Blue Jays average 5.43 runs per game versus right handed pitchers while hitting 1.0 home runs per game. The White Sox only average .246 versus right handers and scoring 3.61 runs per game. I will take the odds that the White Sox cant get enough runs across the plate today. BOL to all Investors. Have an unbelievable day. |
