After putting up a good fight last week at home, I see distractions catching up and PSU falling apart in the Big House.

Nebraska -3 p.s. Can't wait to see the signs and hear the chants from Buckeye Nation at next week's game in Columbus. Well, I underestimated the PSU players' lack of moral compass. I read they gave JoPa a standing ovation when he addressed the team on Tuesday or Wednesday. I was going to stay away or maybe even consider PSU with the players wanting to win one for their poor coached who was unfairly attacked. Now that he is gone, I am not sure how the PSU players will react. Will they be distraught and unfocused or rally around the us against the world siege mentality the students seem to have (how could you do this to JoPa) and win one for PSU nation? |

During the Kubiak/Schaub era, the Texans have had many opportunities to step up and win a statement game. Take charge of the division, etc. They have always failed.
I believe they will fail again. Titans |

Most of the players are too young to know Al as the legend, icon. Like any legends who passes in their 80s, there best days were long ago and the young generation does is not aware of the persons stature. The Raider's might not really know who they're supposed to rally around for the win (the crazy old guy who died? - he was clearly out of touch the last 7-8 yrs). If anything, the players might be concerned about the near future and impacts to the GM, coaches, etc. and become more concerned about their own career. Any psychologist out there with input? Now leaning Texans

Arkansas +2 (and probably ML).
Look at Tannehill's individual game logs. He is not very good against a team with a remotely decent defense. Meanwhile, the Hogs will be able to move the ball on TAMU. |

If you're wondering why LSU is only favored by -3 to -4 range, take a closer look at the box scores for each teams last two games. LSU could barely move the ball against Oregon (scored on numerous short fields, five punts, etc.) while Miss St. put up huge yardage in a loss to Auburn (granted, two long drives occurred with Auburn leading by a lot).
This is Dan Mullen's third year and they have 16 returning starters after showing marked improvement on O and D in 201 relative to the prior year. Still, it is Miss St., and as someone said, I just don't see them stepping up yet. Need to think some more but leaning LSU to cover. |

TCU's defense has been solid the last 6 yrs, regardless of number of returning starters. I see a strong defense being able to contain RG3, plus, not sure about Baylor's running back.
I'm just not sure about TCU's QB. But I am sure Baylor's defense will be awful. TCU to cover |

Urban Meyer retiring. If it is for real this time, and if his players like and respect him, Florida for the easy cover. Need to understand if he is popular with the players or not. If so, coaches held in high esteem by players usually do very well in their last game when retiring.

1. Army and Navy have three common opponents, Air Force and Duke would suggest two evenly matched teams. Notre Dame suggests Navy is better.
2. This is by far Army's best team in ages and first .500 or better team since 1996. I think Army feels they can finally beat Navy, they've won six games and are feeling good about themselves. If Army can keep it close early, and start to believe, the will keep it close all game and possible win. If Navy gets some early breaks, Army will start doubting again and it will be clear cover for Navy. I might wait until 2H and look to ride or fade Army depending on 1H outcome (if close, stick with Army, if down by 14 or more, expect Navy to keep rolling). Good luck /Go Army, Beat Navy |

I would have pounded Oklahoma St. at anything lower than 14.5. Minus 6.5??? Are you completely kidding me? Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Biggest bet of year for me. Oklahoma St. is almost unstoppable on offense with tremendous balance. Their superstar wide receiver is almost uncoverable game after game. The guy never gets tired and is a beast. I know for a fact he alone will give Texas fits all day. And unfortunately they have a complete offense to go with him. And lately OSU has been firming up on defense much more than earlier in year. Combine that with a Texas offense in complete disarray that can't even move the ball on the nation's last run defense in KSU. And even when Texas moves the ball they can't protect it for long. I'm telling you right now this is a mismatch as good as it gets with a very low line. OSU has everything to play for and Texas has mailed it in. Once they get down early their will is broken and the floodgates open. This one will get very ugly very fast. I still have no clue what the hell Vegas is thinking...because it sure isn't football production and analysis that resulted in this line. Okla St. HUGE And notice I never once said 'lock'...and still won't. Thems the rules! lol Agreed. Not to mention, Okie St. has had some very hard knock losses to Texas over the last several years; they would love to pay UT back and will run it up as much as possible. I am taking OK ST, 1H, Game, and 2H. The Big 12's "Kick UT While It's Down" tour will continue for at least one more week. The only reason I can see that the line is not more is that Texas has out gained every opponent this year and has very highly recruited players who just might show up if the ball bounces the right way - a little momentum, a little belief. Still, I think this team is done. Time to start McCoy junior. And I don't read too much into Texas's win at Nebraska, Nebraska clearly played tight that game as they wanted it too much. Won't happen here, UT Is doubting itself now. |

This is Dasher's fourth game back, he finally put up some OK stats last game against UL Monroe. Last year he dominated against Sun Belt teams (except Troy). If you believe he is back, I would take MTST; ARKST has a bad defense.

I don't care that much about Indy's injuries, Peyton over the years has shown the ability to turn no name receivers into guys with great stats. I think he will do so again. Houston defense allows opposing QBs a rating over 100 (only one of three teams) while Peyton/Indy has is the only team with a QB rating over 100. Last, Houston is hurting in the LB department, I think the replacements for Dallas Clark will have a field day.
