ATLANTA -3.5
People love the ATL/DAL game this week and they love Dallas in that game way too much. Anywhere from the Hilton contest to the consensus sites Dallas is getting credit for...what ? For 6 turnovers and that ugly game against the Giants ? People are calling out Atlanta and crowning them the worst 7-0 team ever. Well, tonight Atlanta will prove everyone wrong. It is not their problem that their schedule was relatively easy. I can name at least 10 teams in the NFL that would be 3-4 or worst with Atlanta schedule in first 7 games. The important thing is, Atlanta is winning those close games. And what people seem to ignore is that their best games came against the best opponents. They outscored Philadelphia, San Diego and Denver 84-41 and they outscored everyone else 117-89. JACKSONVILLE +5 Detroit line is on the move as both public and so-called sharps are hammering Detroit. The problem is, Detroit has never been a good road team. They were favored on the road only 13 times since 1997 and their ATS record in those games is 1-12. They are 3-4 on the season but in all three of their wins their opponents had the lead with less than a minute left in the game. The Lions could have been a 0-7 team right now. |

From a football standpoint, this team is not very good, and going up against a very good Boise team. Wym just got trounced by Fresno. I could see a 20+ win easily by Boise. -Good Luck on you bet though, anything can happen. I can not agree that Boise is a very good team this season. They are solid, but not very good by any means. Check their stats and you will see that they are winning only because their opposition is very week. They would lose to Fresno on neutral field. Not many will agree with me but thats how I see it. They won that game by 10 at home where they have a big advantage but Fresno lost that game because they made tons of mistakes. They lost to Michigan State, and we all know that Michigan State is not that good this season. They barely beat BYU by 1 and New Mexico by 3 and these two teams are 4-4. Everyone else they played has a losing record. |

Tampa Bay +3 (bovada)
Recreational gamblers expect a blowout win for the Saints here, but I am not a recreational gambler. There is a reason why New Orleans is 1-4. Their offense can score points but cant run (ranked #30 in the NFL). Their offenses is one dimensional and teams like TB who play them twice a year know all of their good and bad sides. Saints are dead last in the league in yards allowed and they are especially bad against the run. Tampa has a very solid D and an offense good enough to move the chains against Saints D. |

Carolina +2
Turnovers, bad punts, penalties, missed field goals, you name it, the Cowboys are doing it all. They are 2-3 despite being ranked #6 in offense and #2 in defense. Last week they kept the ball for over 40 minutes, rushed for 227 yards and still suffered a heartbreaking loss against Baltimore. I dont see them recover in back-to-back road games with Giants coming to Dallas next week. |

kansas and kansas state are 0-19 SU (5-14 ATS) combined after their rivalry game, against any team .750 or better on the season. kansas state is 0-11 SU in this spot.

minnesota was exposed two weeks ago and northwestern was exposed last week. minnesota had time to recover, northwestern did not. minnesota not bad at home, as they are recently either winning as favorites or cover as underdogs in their own stadium. northwestern i am on minnesota +3.5
syracuse not as bad as some people think. they are the only big east team that played a top 10 team this season. cincinnati, rutgers and louisville are unbeaten but they played by far the easiest schedule of all big east teams. the things are simple in the big east. 3 teams with easiest schedule are 14-0 & two teams with strongest schedule are 4-7. syracuse +7 vanderbilt already faced three teams that were 5-0 or better at one point this season. they are playing much better at home and shouldnt be an easy out for florida. the gators just played and upset a top 10 team and have two revenge games in next two weeks against unbeaten s.carolina and 5-1 georgia. vanderbilt +8.5

atlanta not good running and stopping the run. they depend too much on matt ryan. atlanta team qb rating is the 2nd best in the league but their offense is only ranked #12 in yards per game. when was the last time we had a 5-0 team with offense ranked #12 and defense ranked #17, outgaining opponents by just about 30 yards per game, while outscoring them by 11 ? matt ryan had 52 passing attempts last week and two washington qbs combined had 24 attempts. i am on oakland +9.5
last week i said that baltimore with their poor 3rd down % can not keep on scoring and i was right as they kicked only 3 fgs last week scoring 9 points. their 3rd down % was actually under their poor season average as they went 3/11 on 3rd down. and not only that. they allowed 200 rushing yards, kc was better in yards per pass and flacco was sacked 4 times and cassell 0 times. they better get disciplined at home where they had 25 penalties for 235 yards in last two games. my play is dallas +3.5 situational play: tennessee +5.5
