Odds-makers opened the Seahawks as the favorite on a neutral field.
Nothing significant has happened personnel-wise to warrant such a line move. What did move the line was plenty of disrespect towards odds-makers and Vegas for opening the Broncos as an underdog. This was intentional. Vegas was prepared for an avalanche of Broncos/Peyton money and making squares bust a huge nut by making them a technical underdog. I only call them a technical underdog because this is football and the line is inside the key number 3 so whoever covers is most likely going to win straight up. Me personally, I would rather be on the side that the bookies will be cheering for as they know much more than I will ever know. BOL everyone |

Odds makers opened Richmond as a 1.5 point favorite and they were bet up to a 3.5 point favorite at game time against ZOMG a TOP 15 RANKED TEAM IN THE COUNTRY OH NOEZ!!! WHAT AN INCREDIBLE UPSET!!!!

Embarrassing. This also shows how much stock an average fan puts into rankings. |

This will crumble, eventually.
It would be really embarrassing if it happened tonight.

Ya, there is no way that Denver has a chance in this game. Even though the odds makers have it have it as a tight game there is no way the Heat lose.

That is 6 points for home court advantage this game is a spurs -1 if played in minny. Minny is a decent to good team. No way they should be taking 9 points here. If the two points account for the recent blowouts of the spurs, then I refute that by stating the wolves had blown out detroit the other day and comeback down 19 feom philly. So both are playing good ball as of the moment. I like betting lines which are off. I think the real "value" is there. Im going large on this one, coz mainly because its the spursss! This might be the sucker bet of the night. But then again I might be wrong and end up being the sucker. This game is actually a regularly scheduled game. The cancelled game in Mexico was technically a Minnesota home game and will be played as such on the make up date. I don't know if this makes a difference to you but I thought I'd throw it out there for you. BOL everyone.

TB, I'm going to say this because I respect you a tremendous amount.
In my humble opinion, stay away from those teasers. Wouldn't you be singing a different tune if the Spurs won by 15? Hitting that 3-leg teaser could have been the worst thing that happened to you in the long run because the books want you to play teasers. Stick with those straight plays and you'll be fine buddy. Before you know it, you will be on another winning streak.

Look at all these hindsight box in here foaming at the mouth, hoping for a loss to belittle a great contributor. How easy is that?
TB, I wouldn't blame you if you never came here because of the culture on this site, or lack thereof. But I know you're thick-skinned, level-headed and you don't let the trolls get to you, so I continue to look forward to your insight. |

Jebron Lames loves playing on TNT.
Vegas loves money. I have a sick feeling that even if the Heat bludgeoned the Pistons the other night, Vegas would have still opened the line a 4.5, prompting EVEN MORE Miami action. Give me the classic TNT public bloodbath. Give me the Bulls at home with the points. BOL to all |

TB Houston might go up around 20 and the Rockets backers are going to be wondering why the bookies gave out such a gift. Then, they might gas hard in the second half, the spread cover will be up for grabs, then the Rockets backers will be crying how the NBA is fixed, like clockwork. This could get ugly... Give me the Jazz BOL to all.

As for me, I'm with TB, we share a very similar betting ideology. Give me the Raptors big on the spread. Going with small play on the ML as well. BOL everyone |
