Slim, you might want to consider getting a part time job. At least you'll have some source of income when you have those "break even" or losing days...and there will be some. I've worked in the Vegas casinos for over six years, and i've seen a ton of ideas and strategies. Even tried a few myself. They all have a flaw or two. Good luck with the dream buddy.

I use the leroys, app too, and i've been thinking of opening an acct. at Cantor. Thinking it has to be better than the leroy's book.

LOL, dealers don't count cards, they have no reason to. If a floor supervisor suspects you of counting cards, they will call surveillance. They are the ones who will count down the deck and watch your bet size and determine whether you are a counter or not. Dealers have no say as to when to shuffle...procedures tell them when to do so. Only their floor supervisor can change that. Any dealer that tells you they can influence the outcome by the way they shuffle the cards are full of themselves.

I wasn't thrilled with the Thompson pick either, but he had a decent rookie season, especially when you consider he was playing alot of center at only 6ft 8in.

Here was they're thinking. Unlike most, they didn't think the draft was as deep in talent as everyone else did. So, to give up their 2nd rounders to move up meant nothing to them. Obviously, they like Zellar, and the need for size is obvious looking at their roster. As a cavs fan, i was more dissappointed with Waiters @4. I think Zellar will be a serviceable center...nothing great, but not a stiff either.

....and SD ST opened as the fav (-1). Early money on Wyoming??? What were people thinking? Good record, yes...quality wins, none.

USC opens at +1.5 to 3, and now they are favorite??? I know 'Zona has had some struggles this year, but USC is pretty bad. How does this line move in this direction? Talk me out of Arizona!

on Cleveland...their defense shouldn't give up much more than 20, and Balt has played down to their level of competition this year.

Nobody deserves a shot. LSU has beaten everyone. If bama wins the rematch, then neither team has proven better than the other. Which is why the national championship is as "mythical" now as it ever has been!

Bama has only beaten 2 good teams this year, @penn st, and arkansas. Yes okie st lost to iowa st, but they've beaten more quality teams.

I would still like to see Okie st play LSU. The best offense vs the best defense is always entertaining. Blackmon vs those big db's from LSU.

I've heard no decision will be made till after this season, but i agree. From what i've heard, UNLV's chances are better than people think. Brice Jones transferring from USC only helps, as they are close. I hear his father will have a huge influence in the decision as well. |

I didn't forget Wallace, i'm just wondering how much playing time he will get with all the other talent around him. Rebels need to go 10 deep to get Wallace on the floor at all. But the kid can shoot! |

Just going from what i've heard, but he has looked real good in practice...this year and last. Not saying his numbers will be huge, but he will contribute right away. And i didnt mention Reggie Smith and Bryce Jones who wont be eligible until mid season.

Drifter, the only thing the rebels will lack is 3-pt shooting. Otherwise, there's a ton of athlethism and depth. And if Shabazz stays home (and i hear thats more realistic than you may think), next year will be even better!

I cant touch this one. Bears are down to -1....they should be favorite by 4 in my mind.

Well, now a FG only ties it instead of winning. Screw the "chart". Like i said, way too early for that call.
