@bluecompass Sucker bet. MI over this year played only one ranked top 20 team at the time of the game. That was MSU and they lost. OSU played 4 top 20 teams and lost early in the year to Oregon. OSU WRs too good for Michigan secondary and Michigan's starting safety is out. Harbaugh too conservative in big games. Buckeye s win and cover. Case closed. |

Hi Nos,
No fear of catching Michigan in a sandwich week? Big ND game last week and Home Coming week next? Hard for team to stay up for three straight weeks. Just a thought.

Back to something other than Bama/Gators please. Is anyone feeling any Rutgers love this week? Has Louisville packed it in for the season?

"Haha got to love the haters Nos"
Quite the contrary. I've been quietly following him since the season started. I know he knows his stuff, its just we agree to disagree on the Gator/Bama game. He might very well be right and Bama might be able to move the ball on the ground with their O-line control the clock and pull the upset. I'll tip my hat to him. But it ain't gonna happen. |

Alabama 30 Florida 27 - doubt the Florida defensive line has been tested by the likes road grader OT Smith and company (other than possibly Ole Miss Oher in 31-30 loss) and hopefully DT Cody lands on Harvin's ankle and crushes the bone into tiny pieces. Gators won matchup 28-13 in 2006 (national champs) although game was played fairly even and Bama won 31-3 the year before. Alabama played their opener in Atlanta crushing Clemson (early wager at +5 looking pretty good now) so that should not hurt. Upset.
Nos aren't you worried about Florida's speed in the dome on the turf? I believe Bama played Georgia in the dome when they waxed the dogs but this is the Gators! They're a whole different animal and the turf will bring their speed on both sides of the ball to the forefront. Also this is just my personal opinion, I don't like John Parker Wilson. Four out of the last 5 weeks he didn't throw for 200 yards and that's in a pro style offense. And before all the Bama backers jump on me about Tebow passing numbers remember he gets a lot of yards on the ground, and their option spread offense is different. I think Florida's under-rated defense puts 8 in the box off the get go and stuffs the run forcing JPW to win the game and he fails miserably and that starts TOs and leads to Florida cover. Speed kills and this case I think the Gators have a huge advantage on both sides of the ball. My guess is you think Bama WILL be able to run and mix in play action passes and keep the Florida offense on the sidelines with a short passing game and using all the clock on each play. I don't see it. Close for maybe a quarter or two but then Gator dominance. Peace out. One more thing, very UN-NOS like on the "hopefully" Cody shatters Harvin's ankle in little pieces??? We don't wish that on anyone especially a college kid. You're a pro act like it. |

Nos congrats on the OU huge win against TT. You were hot last week so I laid off the bet on TT nervously . I didn't bet OU but you still saved me some coin on that game. Your analysis was dead on about OU running game being the difference. Thanks.

Nos you seem high on Oklahoma why? You took them against a good passing team like Texas and they lost. And lets not forget the Sooner's special teams aren't special at all. Sure that was a neutral site but Texas Tech beat Texas, and this one is just as big for both teams as the Texas vs Oklahoma game was. Techs defense is better and getting 6.5??? Am I missing something here? I'm leaning the other way.

Colts/Bears Under 44.5
Not really feeling the colts at all this year. I think they will be 10-6, but nothing like what they are used to doing. Theyll win this game, but with each year Peyton and Marvin get older, this teams offense gets a bit weaker. They do have a stud at RB, but the Bears have a very capable D and Will at least keep them at bay. And the bears offense??? Why even bother playing??? A rookie RB, a QB whos job isnt to make plays, but to "not lose" the game. And do they even have any WRS??? 24-10 Indy I'm from Chicago and let me tell you the Bears Defense is absolutely horrible. They can't cover anyone and cannot stop the run, Lovie never should have let Ron Rivera (Chico) go, the defense hasn't been the same since. As bad as you think their offense is the defense is worse. Indy wins this one easily. The early over under on Bears season was 8 wins at -140 for the under. I'm not sure what it is now but its looking good. The Bears will be lucky to win 5 games this year with a difficult schedule. |
