Downtown las vegas you have 4 different sportsbook companies, William Hill which control majority of the casinos downtown,Station which operate out of El Cortez,Coast which is Sams Town, Freemont and Main Street, and the Golden Nugget who operate their own.
On the strip you mostly have 2 outs, Ceasers and Mgm,under betting services mgm is listed as mirage, the other two is the Wynn which is my favorite and Treasure Island, and Cantor which operates at the Tropicana at the end of the strip. When im in vegas i usually work downtown because its easier to walk to other casinos because the ones listed are close proximity to each other. I suggest getting a Ipad where you can get instant lines from sportsoptions.com for as little as $35 bucks a month. The hardest line to beat is MGM followed by William Hill and the easiest is Wynn and Station

Do you know if they have made any policy change? You can have devices in the sportsbook you just cant have them at the counter

I was referring to lower level gamblers, but for bigger players you have to get ahead of the count,gambling/investing is more psychological than technical, I bet you if feels better to lose than to win. It's hard to be creative and conservative at the same time, it's a conflict of interest. Thats the edge most casinos have over players, that and more money. Because people win we get cocky we forget the things that made us successful and over extend, and there goes our bankroll.

I would say don't go, I have met people evicted from their homes or homeless chasing bets, the only people I know who are successful at sportsbetting that live in vegas are people who have a steady job. The key to beating the books is to turn the odds against them and use their own money against them. If you can't turn 100 bucks into 1000 within a week on a consistent basis, then you not ready to make that jump. It's easy to dream sitting on your coach but being their with so many distractions will have you broke in no time

Last year I went to vegas with 25k around this time to sports bet, I lasted 6 months, and end up losing my entire bank roll, not really on gambling but but bad money management, I would win with sports then lose on the crap table, was addicted to high limit slot machines, and lost 10k chasing one day just to try and get money back, all the while I had a rental car everyday, eating out, supporting new found friends, and after a while the expenses ate up the cash flow, I would suggest to anybody who go to vegas with trying to make a living its possible I met tons of guys who do it you just have to treat it as a business and leave everything else alone, because when you hit rock bottom out there the people you thought we're your friends gonna act like they don't know you
