Take LAC -3.5 as a hedge with a nice 9-point middle opportunity. |

Will update the record later - it sucks so you're not missing anything. Rockets/Raptors OVER 207.0 - 1 unit Bobcats +11.5 @ Heat - 1 unit Bobcats/Heat UNDER 193.0 - 1 unit Cavaliers/Hornets UNDER 192.5 - 1 unit |

Clippers +8.0 @ Pacers - 1 unit I like the Clippers here as Eric Gordon performs in front of his home crowd. Blake Griffin seems to be improving every game, and I like Gordon and Griffin to have big days against the defense-less Pacers. I also like the Pacers to beat themselves - they are pretty good at it. |

I envision these teams turning this game into a shootout. It's easy for a team (Miami) to tell itself that it will not get drawn into a full-court game, but I don't think they will be able to resist. The Heat are simply not built for a half-court game, and don't disallow the possibility that egos get involved. They have not developed a pick-and-roll/pop game, and they don't really have anyone with a good post game. Bosh can when he wants to, but so far this season he seems to be content with mid-range jumpers. And the Suns, well, they will be the Suns. |

Parlay: Lakers/Pistons OVER 203.5 Timberwolves -4.0 (-115 B+0.5) vs Clippers 1.5 units to win 3.975 units I shouldn't drink-and-bet. |

Hornets -4.0 (-115) vs Mavericks - 1.5 units As I mentioned after Monday's game, New Orleans would have beat Dallas if they had not allowed J.J. Barea to collapse their zone and allow too many wide-open jump shots. I really like the Hornets to correct this problem resulting in an easy win over the Mavericks. Foul trouble limited minutes for CP3 and David West, but when they were on the floor they dominated the Mavericks, and Okafor was stellar against the Dallas Bigs. Give me New Orleans to win and cover. |

Lakers/Pistons OVER 203.5 - 1.5 units I don't understand why Detroit totals are always skewed low, but I will definitely try to take advantage. The Pistons are allowing 100 ppg this season, and I expect the Lakers to outperform the average here. Detroit allowed the freaking CLIPPERS to score 107. What will the Lakers do to them? LAL is averaging over 113 ppg this season while allowing 104. The Pistons have the talent to score 95+, and this total will sail over. |

Timberwolves -4.5 vs Clippers - 1.5 units The Wolves have been very kind to me this season, and I will continue to ride them. The Clippers are possibly the worst team in the NBA right now with two starters hurt. They are 0-5 on the road with an average margin of loss of 11.6 points. While Blake Griffin is showing steady improvement and tremendous potential, the Minnesota Bigs will give him and starting center DeAndre Jordan (who?) big problems. K-Love, Beasley, and Darko make the difference in this game. Eric Gordon cannot carry the Clippers to a cover by himself, but I don't see anyone else on this roster having any substantial success against the Wolves. |
