Bjorn_Borg .............you make a lot of doubles plays. Have a look at this WTA doubles match for tomorrow Labor Day Sept. 4th. I really like Kato / Sutiadi as alive dog at +201 (Bookmaker). Doing some handicapping, research and digging for info on this match..........thinking about making a larger than normal wager on this match-up. What's your thoughts? I know that Azarenka and Haddad won the tourney in Barcelona and Haddad is ranked #14 which says that she's a very good doubles player. However, I really feel that the "team" of Kato / Sutjiadi plays well together and has a lot of experience and have been playing together regularly since in February in Dubai and has lot of quality wins. |

Jen Brady......... is showing great patience so far in not pulling the trigger so fast and also her backhand is holding up very well against Woz's trying to pin her down in the backhand corner. |

Handycat…….this is another automatic 1/2unit pla6 for me.Wang ranked #114 favorited by -169 over Boulder ranked # 61
K. Boulder attained her ranking by winning at home at Nottingham England on grass and having no points to protect and then getting to the 3rd round of Wimbledon at home with no points to protect.
now she takes on yafan Wang who has won 11 straight matches and has played her last 10 tourneys all on hard courts and has won 32matches and loss only 3 over this 10 hard court tourneys. k. Boulter has played 5 hard court tourneys and her record is 5W 3L and all of her 5wins were against ladies who are generally speaking clay court specialist. GLT all of us Wang backers in this spot. the only thing that I fear is having almost all bettors on Wang……. However when I handicap matches I go with the facts and stats and my gut feelings…. Mixed in with other factors like respected other cappers thoughts and news today bits. once that’s done I make my plays and don’t let anything else deter me. |

@jvarghese I can't . I got caught up in my excitement and anxiousness and Bookmaker stopped me cold...........not allowing me to make a parlay with the ML and total games.

Pera, Bernarda +135 Wang, Xiyu -167 over 22 games
Head-to-head: Wang Xiyu leads 1-0 they last played 5 years ago This IMHOL will be another dogfight between two players who achieved their respective career-best rankings earlier this season but have since dropped 40+ places.
My plays - I am making a ½ unit play on X. Wang to win and a ½ unit play on over 22 games................and a 1/2 unit on a 2 team parlay GLTA

Juvan, Kaja +118 +4 Davis, Lauren -145
Kaja Juvan IMHO is a ..............Live Dog !!!
Juvan is 14-3 in matches played starting with Wimbledon 2023. She’s 22 yrs and from Slovenia and is ranked #145. She won 3 qualifying matches to get to the main draw and survived 5 match points and has played more than 8 hours of tennis already in 5 days. She was a break down in each set against Elisabetta Cocciaretto in her 1 round main draw match on Monday and came back and won 6-2, 7-5. Lauren Davis (29 yrs old ranked #50) is only 5”2 and is a grinder. She does not overpower any opponents nor out serve them. She’s consistent and moves well and just grinds and fights. She was on a four-match losing streak coming into this year's US open. Her won loss record starting at Wimbledon until today is 4W 5L (not a lot of matches played). Note * Head-to-head they are 1-1. Lauren Davis won 7-6, 7-6 in Birmingham last year 2022 on grass, and Juvan won in Rome on clay in 2020. Both players have very similar games and styles, so I expect a dog fight. The game total was set at over 21.5 which tells me that the bookmakers expect a tough long dogfight. Neither player plays well with a lead. They both play better and fight harder when they are behind or down a break. I struggled over how to play this, so I finally chose to play Juvan +4 games instead of playing the over 21.5 game total My play is ………………..K. Juvan +4 games. GLTA

Here’s another match that I am playing to try and build my bankroll for my favorite sport to wager on, which is college football. I will use this match in a 2-team parlay as I have been doing recently and keep the 2nd team “OPEN” and if I win tomorrow, I will pick a college game and team in 2-weeks’ time to complete my 2-team parlay. Brady, J. -370 USA 28 yrs old ranked #428 Birrell, K. +281 Australian 25 yrs old ranked #112 Note # J. Brady had not played on the tour since Aug. of 2021 because of injuries. She just returned to the tour in July of this year. She recently played some quality players a few weeks back playing the likes of D. Vekic ranked #21, Rybakina # 4, Ostapenko #20, M. Keys #17 and A. Kalinina #28 She loss to Vekic 7-6 7-5 and loss to Rybakina in 3 sets 7-6 6-7 3-6 and she loss to M. Keys 6-4 6-0 She beat Ostapenko in 3 sets and Kalinina in 2 sets 6-2 6-1 Brady comes into this match well rested, having 13 days off since she last played in Cincinnati. K. Birrell has played 3 qualifying matches in the last 5 days and is coming off a loss to a player ranked #731 and now she is a lucky loser. Note* she has backed pedaled into hitting the lotto bigtime. She will earn a minimum paycheck of $81,000 and possibly more if she wins by getting to the US open main draw as a lucky loser. Her record in the last 10 matches is 6W – 4L during these 10 matches she has played players ranked #731 ….150…198…176…627….79….115…526…358 J. Brady has played against some WTA top tier players, top ten and top 20 players quite recently and has a 2-3 record and played exceptionally well in those matches, especially considering she has only played 7 total matches since Aug. 2021. What I observe that I am getting in backing J. Brady is a very fresh, highly energized, highly motivated player who is extremely happy to finally be healthy again and back on tour and to be playing in the US Open. She has gotten a very favorable draw playing against a lucky loser ranked #112 In K. Birrell we are getting a player who has gotten extremely lucky and probably feels very satisfied and happy with what she has accomplished already at the US Open Qualies tourney and over the moon by getting a very nice paycheck for her work in the qualies. Birrell will come into this match with a little less confidence from losing in her 3rd match in the qualies to a player ranked #731 Note* here’s a big thing, K. Birrell is Australian and has not been back to her home or in her country and around her family and friends only for a few days since Feb. of this year. Believe me when I say this long-extended period without being around family and friends and sleeping in your own bed and eating your mom’s cooking and hanging out with friends takes a huge mental and emotional toll on any person. Is it possible that K. Birrell can come into this match tomorrow on fire and serving well and her groundies being precise and on point …Absolutely Is it possible that J. Brady can come into this match playing like a player who has played only 7 matches in 2 years and spraying balls all over the court and double faulting like Sabalenka does on occasions…absolutely. What I feel that I am getting in backing J. Brady is a very fresh, highly energized, highly motivated player who is extremely happy to finally be healthy again and back on tour and to be playing in the US Open. GLTA |
