Tried to have your back guys. I haven't been able to post very much the last couple of years because football season is my busy season too, but I do read most all of the threads. By the time I go to put my 2 cents in, someone has already said what I am thinking and there is no need to hear it from me.
Just don't understand why it is so hard to just post your thoughts and let the reader decide what info to use and what to ignore.

But I did want to give you credit for being the one person who focused on the key point on this game. Hope you cashed hard, I took OSU and the Over.
So far on this thread alone you have told people that they don't know how to handicap... "You want your money on OSU's QB? NO! I hope next year all you younger people like hawekeye, bigdaddy, pats grl get some real capping processes, you guys lost way too much money this year - and stick with this - one day you wil be making thousands." and called 90% of the cappers here "idiots" all while telling us how much money you have won. Yep, your ego is in check and all that without a tinge of negativity. I do appreciate your insight to the games and how you break down the game, but it could and should be done without telling "90%" of the cappers they are "idiots." Lastly, how can you "have a group of people that have helped each other on here for years" if you joined in March of 2007? I have been here for years. When it was Me, Lefty, BigDaddy and Bigeiii as the main posters and you certainly weren't in any football threads that I was in. But you are 60 and I am just a 28 year old, card-carrying member of MENSA with a masters from Northwestern, so I am sure you are right and I am wrong. |

Do you feel better teabags? 232 posts and most of them just telling people how good you are and how bad we are. We don't need that "holier than thou" crap in here. You can just point out what you are looking at to make your decision without telling everyone else how dumb you think they are.
It is possible to be helpful without being condecending, I promise

Bodog has the half line at LSU -1.5 if anyone else if following BigD.

BigDaddy,
With the longer layoff for Ohio St, do you think that LSU will have the advantage in the 1st half of this one?

Great post Backroads...
I hadn't really been looking at it that way. I'll lay the points here and take the team that is dangerous on both sides of the ball.
Probably under too.

Wisconsin didn't beat anyone but Michigan and Michigan State and those games were at Camp Randall. This game isn't at Camp Randall. Their secondary is terrible except for Igwanu and he can't cover all of Tennessee's weapons.
Small play on Tennessee

okay...I changed my mind. Air Force hasn't beaten anyone this year. Utah was without Brian Johnson and the rest of their wins are against terrible teams. Might just make a small over play since I am so on the fence.

Cal can't stop the run!! Just look at their last three games. Longshore's ankle issued didn't have anything to do with that. I will take Air Force and the over and hope it continues.

Every decent back Maryland has faced has put up 100+ but BC's Callander. Even FSU was able to muster 154 yards on the ground. Bernard is going to torch the Terps tonight and the OSU D will make Maryland's QB win it for them and I don't think that is very likely.
The Beavers are the pick.

Phil Steele have an opinion on this one? He has been pretty hot, and, well I haven't been.

Good pick Big Daddy. I agree. Watched quite a few ASU games and it seems what I remember was thinking that Dennis Erickson may be the best coach in America at making half-time adjustments since they always seem to be behind at the half yet won 10 games.

What does San Diego have to play for? They aren't getting a bye and they are getting the first game at home for sure I think. I am willing to bet that LT and Rivers don't see much time.
Under for sure with a lean on Denver plus the points.

Not sure what everyone sees in FAU. Yes they played a tougher schedule...and got thumped by each of those teams
39 to Florida
28 to Kentucky
36 to Oklahoma State
So. Florida is impressive, but Minnesota was one of the ten worst teams in college football this year.
I think Memphis could have stayed within 32 of these teams too.
FAU has 107th ranked defense in regard to rushing the passer and Memphis' line is very good.
To avoid skewing the stats with the difference in SOS, just look at the last three games and FAU's D is much worse and Memphis' O is better too.
I think that Martin Hankins stands in the pocket and picks apart FAU's D tonight.
Memphis 52 FAU 35
Over 4 units Memphis 2

I got my email and validated that they owe me $48.35. I didn't remember them owing me anything, but I will take the cash.
Here is a site where you can find out the credit reference number if you just type in all of your old email addresses if you can remember... |

Okay, I have to change my play.
Rutgers is already locked in to the International Bowl and Teel has some hand issues.
While Louisville needs this win to have any shot at going bowling, and it is Senior Night.
I expect that Rutgers will come with less than full enthusiasm, but the 'Ville will do whatever they can to give themselves a shot at postseason play.
Take Louisville (small play)

T-Rev,
Where you at exactly? I live in Winchester, and run a bar in Jacksonville. Sounds like we may be pretty close.

Louisville hasn't covered at home all year. I don't know why they would start now.
Rutgers (small play)

Central Michigan can't stop anyone. And is just so happens that no one can stop them. They didn't have anything to play for last week either and put up a ton of points. Don't see why that would change.
