Give me a reason why he should not hedge, besides waving the finger?
RHD.....you threw down $20. Yes if you lose, you lose $20, big deal. But even if you $20 paid you $1500 or so, wouldnt you be happy as well?? I fukn would be of a $20 bet.
I would hedge out by playing the BC Lions for a grand first. If they lose, then I'd bet a grand on Zona, of course both + points. If I lose both, I'm still good with almost $2000 of a $20 bet. If BC wins, you get a grand and parlay is done. Thats me.
Cmon now. Im not gona get to deep in this discusion but you know the other side of this argument by now. If thats his last $20 then absolutly he should hedge to book a win. But if hes betting every week then the value of not hedging in these spots will make him alot more money over a season. |

If your talking about both fresh outa college I would take Vick hands down. If youare talking about right now I would take Vick hands down.
I know Vick looked like shit last night. But Vick also looked amazing to me last week . So Im not sure what happened last night but I dont see many more performances like that. Vick has a stronger and believe it or not a more accurate arm. Vick is still the best athlete playing at the QB position in the NFL. Vick has won in this league. Vick also has alot more talent around him the Tebow. There is no way in hell you will ever get me to pick a QB who hasnt even played in a game over a Qb who has led his team to playoff wins. IMO |

Y is everyone on Forte? He ruined my fantasy team last year. And didnt they get Chester Taylor? He will atleast get all the 3rd down touches and might evenly split. Id take Moreno before Forte.

The thought of betting on a team with a hasbeen QB like Sanchez makes me Cringe but its the play. If the Bears are 7 pt favorites or more and the total is 43 or more I have a system that calls for the over.
Handicapping games since April, I have a five binder notebook that is full of info. Im a strong beleiver that the media doesnt lie to you until the season gets underway. Then they put out BS out there,Its worked for me, Ill continue to handicap in this manner, also I go back and see how many teams had winning seasons in a row or losing seasons in a row, right now Im compelled to bet NC State blind every game, they have been losers ATS the past 6 out of 7 years, thats almost unheard of. The raiders have had losing seasons ATS the last 5 years in a row, its gonna turn, Yes 8-8 ATS is a losing as far as ATS is concerned
Ok, Im glad you responded. I personally cant bet games on trends. I do factor that into a point system as well as injurys, matchups, home and away records, weather, and other factors. But I do respect the fact that you have a way to bet and you follow it. BOL on your season. Hope you make a killing sir. |
