Would like some winners. Covers so called experts winless again yesterday 9-29-15. Only thing that saved them from 0-6 was a game being postponed. Also 2-10 with bought picks from these so called experts.

Most of the time any basketball game might come down to free throws at the end of the game to decide who covers*. But you have to hate it when players (in this case D. Wade) foul on purpose 75 feet away from the hoop when they are in double bonus in order to be substituted out. The player cares less about anything else except for getting himself a seat back on the bench. Which results in the other team getting two free throws and making them both with the clocked stopped. Resulting in a loss of an under that was teased up from 204 to 214. The lazy behaviors of players of the NBA and how they effect the spreads.

Where are you allowed to 10pt tease the over/under?

A game that goes over the line here would mean a chaotic game in which Ronbinson would flurish. However I think defense rules here with Cousins not throwing particularly great and Robninson proving he can't throw the ball last week throwing those 3 picks against Northwestern. You stop Michigan from rushing over 150 yards total (thats with Robinson) and force Robinson to throw to beat you. If you can do that you beat Michigan every week. Not to mention Michigan has won 3 Big Ten games over the last 2 years putting them at the bottom of the conference, and both the last 2 years Michigan was undefeated going into the Big Ten play. Michigan still has work to do. Spartans win a close one 24-17.

How so? Explain. If you can't back up your opinion with some facts. Save us all your opinion. |

I live near Detroit and it is still tough to know what will happen over the next few hours. But the radar on weather.com shows comerica being wet with slightly more than a drizzle until 7ish.

I know college teams that have a higher pay roll than Miami'a bench does. That bench is worse than it was in Cleveland. I wouldn't expect Miami's bench to do anything except shoot 30% from the field and have 10 turnovers. And considering Wade wasn't active what so ever yesterday because of his knee why would you bet Miami? Your gambling on two things betting on Miami: 1) They cover. 2) That Wade even plays in this game. Thats relying on to many vairiables for my liking. Hawks are the smart bet here and will be ready to prove themselves against a hurting/struggling Miami team. |

Wade's knee is more of an issue than Lebron's ankle. I expect Lebron to be the only big three playing tonight. That along with the Hawks winning 8 of their last 10 and the Heat losing their last 3 in a row. I like the Hawks +5.5 in a close one. |

gwap: I hear ya man, the last minute or 20 seconds of the game can really cause problems depending on how each team handles it. I believe they did it in order to get more acustomed to what is possible with how much time left. It is/was used as more of a training device for later games than it was to actually win that game with seconds left down 7. I've seen Butler down double digits fouling up until seconds left. They couldn't have thought they still had a chance but its learning a certain mode to get into when it is needed and being familiar with that situation when the time comes. I'm sure I'm not the only one who has lost an under by both teams scoring 20 points in the final 2 minutes from fouling. sucks

I agree with Thekidmc11, basketball is such an up and down rollercoater, get the loose ball, hope for the blocking foul-not the charge, make the 3, hope other team misses every shot, get the rebound. Its like screaming yes-nooo every 2 seconds. Its to much to handle. If anything just watch the last 2 minutes and see how you get screwed. I remember betting on JJ Redick to score under 32 points when they played at FSU. FSU was up by 7 with 1.2 seconds left when the crowd thought time had expired and rushed the court. The ref's decided to clear the court of the fans and called a technical foul on the fans for rushing the floor early giving Duke's best free throw shooter 2 free throws with 1.2 seconds left. JJ Redick had 31 points at this point in the game. He sinks both free throws to hit over 32 and finish with 33 points. Thanks ref's.
