Die hard nfl fan for 36 years but this season makes me really think it might be the last.
Every game I see inconsistent calls. QB with the ball, all eyes on him gets hit in the head or face mask grabbed no call. Sometimes it is. Dupree helmet first on Moore's chin. Yeah he got the penalty, why is he still in the game? What about db's grabbing a wr's arm while he's trying to make a catch. One got called yesterday, wow but so many this year do not. So many helmet to helmet hits go uncalled. Either throw the rule out or call them all. Anyone else feel this way? |

Over 80% go unsolved so it's difficult to know the percentages but 77.9% of the victims are black.
Do you think its true that if both the victim and assailant is believed to be gang affiliated that not much effort is put forth for an investigation?

I read this a couple of weeks ago and have been interested ever since.
I researched the history of gangs and drug problems in Chicago. I also have listened in on the police scanner in a few of the worse neighborhoods there. I could not believe how crazy it is. The police don't even get too excited about shooting calls or even chasing an individual with a gun. It's all too common. Just wow. What an eye opener. Most recent shootings are walk ups or drive up to another vehicle and let er rip.

I like taking shots at players for points and assists on 2-5 player parlays.
Yes I'm being a degenerate but so much fun. Anyone else dumb enough to do these?

Interest is in cities I have not been to before, such as Providence, Des Moines, Brooklyn and Spokane.
Thinking of weather is a good point.

I lost my mother coming on 4 years now. It is the worse experience so far in my life. I did not get to tell her bye or say all those thank you's.
She was 69 and had diabetes and heart problems but was doing okay, living normal until one morning she was found. I was 2000 miles away. It was the phone call that Sunday morning that haunts me. She's in the ambulance, she's now in hospital, they are working on her only to find out later there was never any life in her when she was found. And finally hearing those two words from my sister, "she's gone". I agree with what has been said before. The first year is very painful but it gets better. I thought of her every single day for the first year. Please say all those things now before it's too late. Everyone else that still has their mother think about all of this.

The drugs were bad, the racist crap was bad, but him getting in a car and driving when he was as drunk/high as a person can humanly get was the last straw for me. If he decides to hurt himself, so be it. But he could have killed innocent people that night and that's just inexcusable in my book. If he cleans up his act then that'd be great, but despite his comments that it's his goal, it's hard for anyone to believe him. |
