Not saying Michigan State can't win/cover this game. But it looks like 80 per cent of bettors are on them. This is no way a team anyone should have locked in over 80 per cent.
Without Nolan, Joseph and Walker they are NOT a better team, perid. |

I do worry about CofC getting outrebounded. But I love their guard play. If they compete on the board I fell they win by 3+ possessions!

Interesting....... both PGs out. Freshmen will be running the point. I would also guess they are going to use Hoffarber at that position which will take away from him as a scorere. They will definitley be dumping the ball into the paint and letting Mbakwe, Sampson and Iverson go to work. Should be an even slower tempo....Under may be the safest play ...... would be great if the line comes at 135-137

I worry of Gophers TOs. Al Nolen needs to control this team and the open shots ......... nothing special just play a good solid point guard and control the tempo. Their best player is Mbakwe, although I agree they need Devoe Joseph back to be a top 25 team, Austin Hollins definitely will get eatin up by all guards in the Big 10. |

Great call on the Gophs.... I put a small bet on them but always worry about their O as they definitely lack that "go-to" guy and someone that can create their own shot. They will give a lot of teams trouble because of their size and if they can limit turnovers they will have a very good year. If they can't limit those turnovers it will be another 1 and done in The Tournament.

I agree with the play on Wofford. But wanted to give you some additional info on the Gophers (from MN and have seen these guys play in high school and/or the summer leagues .. ie the Howard-Pulley Pro-Am that is played in St. Paul each summer). Gophers are a bottom 1/3 tempo already as this is Tubby ball. Their best player this year will be Trevor Mbakwe. I have seen this kid since he played his Junior year at Sibley High School 4 years ago. Two of Wofford's players went to De LaSalle High School and they also play in the same summer league. It will be a battle of friends where each will be trying to best the other. I see this as a very close game and love the points. Good luck and keep up the great work!! |

Good luck. I will look at that Cleveland State play closer. I hate givin up so many points but I love the fact they return their top 5 scorers from last year. Good Luck and get on Wofford!

Your welcome. As I am sure you know, this Wofford team took WI to the wire in the opening round of the NCAA tournament. Al Nolen missed 1/2 of last season as he was academically ineligible. He takes care of the ball better than anyone on the squad and plays good D but he has NO shot (and when i say NO shot, i really mean NONE AT ALL) Hoffarber is hot and cold and again demonstrated this in their two exhibition games earlier. He could not miss vs Norhteastern and then vs Winona State he can't find the rhythm. I hope you are right, as I am a Gopher fan, and the Gophers are scary. I just see no way this team beats the Terriers by DD. |

WOFFORD should be a nice play. Gophers have lost Carter, Cobbs and it looks like Joseph will be out until the Puerto Rico Tournament. Mbakwe is a beast but the without Joseph this team does not have a single player that can create their own shot. Diggs and Rundles are from Minnesota play in the summer Howard-Pulley League at the downtown St. Paul Salvation Army along with the entire Gophers squad split up onto about 6 teams (This is a Pro Am league) .... These guys will be gunnin for eachother and know one another inside and out. I certainly feel the outcome will be within 2 possesions and I may even put some of my money on the Terriers ML line!

Love the OSU pick. I have seen a lot of love for UCLA and can not figure out why. I have been wrong, of course, before, but I just dont see it. Both defenses have given up yards and points but OSU has a played BSU, TCU and OU. Good Luck.
