Freeman is young and likable but he took over a 11-1 program and has gone 13-6. If you compare that 2 other young coaches like Day or Riley at OU, they took over thriving programs and maintained them. |

@RoseMVP1 What makes you think Freeman is anything but a bad coach? He lost to Marshall and Stanford last year , then sends out 10 players for final 2 plays of OSU game. Freeman took over a 11-1 program and went 9-5. Elko at Duke took over a 4-8 program and went 9-4. |

ND also only beat up on lesser teams, Duke by far has the better win. Yes, ND has the best players , but after watching those idiots line up with 10 players for the final and most important 2 plays , you have to believe Duke has the better coaching. |

This is the first team ND will face that currently has a 500 or better record |

If you go back to UCLA's last 4 road opponents and figured out what thier offensive and defensive raw points were and the AOPR(average opponents power rating was, which you have no idea how to, i can tell by your speaking. Then you went to temples last 4 away games and figured out what temple's off/def raw points were and by how many points they are winnig or losing to vs thier AOPR. Then you will see why the score is 21-10 and temple is controling this game .Again UCLA's last 4 opponents power rating is 76.5,They lost to that caliber of competition by 6 ppg .Temple's last 4 road games OPR was 65. An 11pt difference. This where you dont understand the SOS dynamics. However, Temple is beating that opponent by 10.5rawppg and UCLA is losing to the 76.5 opponent by 6rppg Simple math Temple( aopr is 65 +10.5rppg =75.5 road rating .UCLA's 76.5 opponent minus the 6rppg is a 71.5.road rating. Which is greater....gee Temple, by 4.5 points. Mathmatical conclusion before the game is played for an educated handicapping guess.Temple is 4,5 ppg better on the road than UCLA.They have the better runnig game more first downs and they are double in total yardage in the 1st half 241 -123. Youll never get it. Never |

Thats funny how people say UCLA's wins were against bad teams. UCLA beat Washington a team that beat USC and has possibly the #1 QB in country. UCLA beat Tenn on road, the same Tenn team that should have beat Bama and gave UF all they can handle.
Temple did not play the top 3 teams in Mac and when they played one of the top teams they got blasted Does anyone think that Tenn or Wash lose a single game if they played in the MAC? I don't!!!! K .State and Arizona St woudl also be favored to win the mac if they played in that league. So be careful when you are looking at quality of wins. Hmm ASU vs Buffalo? KSU vs Bowling Green? Tenn vs Akron? Or look at losses USC vs Ohio? Nova vs Cal?

That is always a funny stat when people start comparing college teams of a decade ago with different players and coaches and using it as a trend.

Yes, I know Temple beat Buffalo, but it is funny reading peopel comparing Temple on road vs UCLA. My point is UCLA has to play teams like USC, Oregon, Cal on road while Temple is beating up Buff, Bowling Green and Akron. So we are not comparing apples to apples. Interesting in last two years UCLA is 6-1 as a favorite ATS and 7-0 SU.

Also, Temple barely beat Navy, which was avg at best this year without Navy starting QB. Anyone who watches Navy knows that the QB is the entire offense and the Navy QB is the best running QB at Navy ever.
If UCLA can go to Tenn and win, I am sure they destroy Ohio and Buff and beat Navy. Please remember Tenn should have beat Bama and had a shot at beating UF. UCLA has not been good on the road but when you play USC vs Buff it is a huge difference. Someone said Cal stinks? Well they may be a avg PAC ten team but Cal would roll the Mac and their avg win margin would be 20+. IF UCLA shows up they win

Well all streaks come to a end and started researching when and who the Mac has beat in bowl games and you have to go back to 2006 when a mac team beat Middle Tenn

A Mac team has not beat a Pac team since 1979. The Mac record vs Pac 10 all time is 3 wins 17 losses. 2 wins in 79 and 1 win in 54. I went back a few years and couldn't even find a Mac bowl win? I know UCLA is not a great team, but this Temple team lost to Ohio bad. Yes was their best RB out but the defense gave up almost 500 yards to Ohio. UCLA offense is not very good for a BCS team, but I think they can move the ball vs Temple. I am from Philly area and would like to see a Temple win, but the facts are UCLA recruits top 20 talent, has a good coach and plays a brutal schedule. Temple has heart and well coached but does anyone really think they have the athletes to compete? They are not even in the elite of MAC yet peopel are picking them to win, when other elite Mac champs have been squashed in bowls yet alone the 3rd best team

just to note, you say the Eagles have done nothing offensively the last two weeks, is kinda true, they moved the ball well vs Minny but not great and Giants, they did just enough to win. The point you are missing is Giants and Minny are top 5 defenses and Zona is like 19th?
The Eagles will move the ball on Zona, that you can count on, the question is will they stop Zona. I think Eagles get enough pressure to rattle Warner again into throwing a few picks, maybe not 3 like he did in previous meeting but 2 picks may be enough to win this game. McNabb wants this, I am not a huge McNabb fan, but he is a spiteful guy and he wants to show the country how wrong everyone is. He is coming to play, which is not something you always know with McNabb. He is even running the ball. Eagles will score 27+ points, you can count on it |
