I honestly don't think they can set the 2h line high enough for me to not take Wisky. Hawaii is being out-manned on both sides of the ball.

Sorry to say, I'm on the other side. I watched Tech get used last week and I'm sure Clemson coaches used that footage to put together this week's game plan. Not to mention Nesbitt was hobbled last week and Shaw eats dick. If Nesbitt isn't 100% or gets hurt again Tech will be up shit creek.

I lean towards taking the points, but not sure with Foles in pain. That interception kind of soured me on the pick. Might go with the under instead.

Obviously you learned something tonight, so take that as something of value you gained in return for the money you lost. If you are a serious bettor you cannot dwell on a single play and you certainly can't blame others for what they think or thought. Before they game starts we are all speculating and nobody knows how a game will turn out until the last whistle blows. Upsets occur all the time and all we can do is try our best to be on the right side when it happens. Apparently 80% of the posters on covers were on the wrong side tonight for that play. But a lot of posters were on the right side for Boston, Washington, and New York. So you picked the wrong one to tail. It happens. Learn from it and don't be petty. All you're doing is building a bad rep with this thread. |

That's why it's called gambling pal. Takes a lot of class to post something like that.

Brownies +12.5 TB Bucs +12.5 Panthers +3.5 Skins +10 Pittsburgh +9 I really thought my Steelers had a chance to pull out the upset there, but Dixon made some understandable mistakes for an inexperienced qb in the nfl. But the kid has a bright future if that's what he does in his first start and against the Ravens defense no less. Overall 4-1 on the day and I'll take that any day. Note to self: don't bet the fucking Panthers again as long as Delhomo is under center. What a mutt. |

Brownies +12.5 TB Bucs +12.5 Panthers +3.5 Skins +10 Adding Pittsburgh +9 Same logic as the Browns/Bengals game. I banking on Dixon bringing a new dimension to the Steelers offense. Mobile qb with a good arm might be able to give them enough to squeak out a win and should cover easily if the defense gets back on track after last week's embarrassment. |

I hear the moving truck backing up at Delhomme's house right now.

I doubt they took down their entire site to prevent betting on one line. If they wanted to they could just not post a number for that game. But books make ridiculous juice on in game betting, so I doubt they would even do that. For every guy who thinks the Colts will come back there is one who thinks they won't.

And get the hell off of that over.

Steelers +9. I think Dixon brings some much needed qb mobility to the Steelers offense and gives the Balty defense fits.

I'm really interested to see how Dixon looks. Has he taken any snaps since he's been in the NFL? Kid looked pretty good at Oregon before he got hurt and he has a year and a half of learning and practice under his belt. If he shines in the opportunity it could be the end for Batch.

Damn, they are so confident in their game plan that they feel the need to resort to an onside kick to get an early advantage? That doesn't bode well for Eagles backers.

Good luck. I read this as an under but couldn't force myself to play it.

Locked in Skins +10 also. Just see this as a low scoring tight game.

Lot's of good looking dogs on the board today.
Locked in so far: Brownies +12.5 Yes, the Browns are terrible. But Cincy has only put up a big number once in the last 10 games and I think the rivalry aspect of this game motivates Cleveland to keep it within the number. AFC North division games usually play pretty close and Cincy hasn't blown out Cleveland since 2006. TB Bucs +12.5 Basically just fading the Birds here. Falcons are my team, but they are banged up and aren't playing well at all. Should be getting Turner and Norwood back, but they weren't exactly lighting up the scoreboard before they went out. I expect the Falcons to win by 7-10 points, so I'll take the 12.5 here and hope they don't have a breakout game. Panthers +3.5 Both teams playing terrible, but Carolina has actually been playing better lately while the Jets seem to be floundering. If the Jets win I expect it to be close and wouldn't be surprised to see Carolina win SU. Leans: Skins +10 Jags +3 Chiefs +13.5 Minny -10 |
