I plan on using this program that I stumbled upon today in my office pool. I figure it can't hurt to at least consider these geeks' opinions. Maybe they know something haha

No doubt UNC. They've got the coach, the star, and the in-season experience you need to win a championship. By that, I mean that they have had great success but also 2 losses to keep them motivated and grounded.
Also, these guys seem to think they're #1 in their power rankings. |

If Rockets go up big in first half, then I'm taking Memphis to beat the 2nd half spread.

I like Memphis at +13.5: even if the Rockets streak holds up, I don't think they have the firepower or correct psyche to win by 14 tonight.
They seem complacent to me. |

Now that I think about it, you could probably tease the spread up and then win with a Louisville victory under 12 points or something- that seems like the best way to play this one to me.

8 Points sounds like a bit much to be giving ND, so I wouldn't take Louisville on the spread. With that said, I don't see ND winning this game.
I think it'd be a relatively safe and pretty lucrative strategy to parlay betting on ND spread with Louisville ML. |

Wait until Thursday and then take Louisville with the spread if they're underdogs and for the ML if they're favorites.

I know Tenn. isn't number 1-- that's why I was wondering why you said they would be.

Well, I think the big question is who has Memphis beat?
We know they've only lost to Tenn. but it took OT to beat USC in Memphis. |

Assuming Vanderbilt finishes this one out, who's the new #1?
I'm going with UNC. |

Vandy needs some help on those presses. That's not very impressive for March, but they'll probably still pull this one out, guaranteeing their spot even if they lose out.

I thought and still think that Tennessee wouldn't enter this game with a good psyche: the #1 ranking means a lot. Unless a team is extremely confident to begin with, they can be overconfident and arrogant before the game with that ranking and then panic when they go down. I think that's why they were jacking up those treys.

I'm not impressed by Tennessee's defense in this game, but the refs have been calling it close.

The ML is looking like the place to be on Tenn. cuz this game's gonna be close.
