Urban Meyer is the difference in this game. His ability to get his guys up for a big game is equaled by Saban and maybe Miles, that's it. OSU, with no bowl this year, has had this game circled since Day 1. Look for a couple new wrinkles in the play action game with Braxton Miller early, OSU defense to get aggressive, and maybe some special teams trickery, but this game is going to the Buckeyes.

BC is gonna miss having the tackling machine that has been in the middle for them the past three years. Rettig has never struck me as a gamer. I think Miami's speed gets it done. Look for Miami to take some shots early, and if they can get a lead and Rettig has to pass them back into it, goodnight. Canes by double digits.

Not the way I pictured, but I'll take the first half win.

Air Force and the dominant running game will dictate the flow of this one. Toledo's defense is a mess, and with the head coach gone, who was the man in charge of the defensive side of the ball, they should be even worse. The other thing working against Toledo is the new HC, who is the OC, will now have more on his plate than just dialing up plays. I think it is going to take Toledo a little while to get adjusted and by the time that happens, Air Force will be in complete control.
Big play on Air Force in the first half and smaller play on Air Force in the game. Maybe a money line. Not sure yet. Good luck. |

Philly gets back to the basics, as Buffalo gets pulled back down to reality. Last weeks collapse at Cincy was the REAL Bills. Philly will hit big plays, force turnovers, and keep it going all day. I think Philly is finally going to get the ball rolling and get hot and become the team everybody thought they would 4 weeks ago. Philly rolls, 45-10.

Georgia has enough on offense and defense tonight to go into Neyland and get a big win. The Dawgs have been looking better and better as the weeks have pasted and I expect tonight to be no different. Murray and company will move the ball at will and the Georgia D will make enough stops to lead Georgia to the 31-14 win.

USC is gonna run it up. They know they are the only game on at that time, prime time. Look for Kiffin to announce his presence with a strict message. Foot is on the gas pedal tonight in the islands.

Thinking over, but its probably a no play. I like Garcia, but sometimes he is so god-damn bad. Look for the Ol' Ball Coach to try and spread the field early. This game depends on USM's ability to move the ball and make plays. F' it, USM and the over. Get some.

Ohio State has struggled with easy openers the past few years. They will give up some on defense, but I do think they will score at will. This game will be closer than most think, but it is going to soar. OSU defense ain't what it use to be. Get ready for some points. The over is the play.

Lewis all day. I like Pitt and the over. More on Pitt. Might hit Pitt and a small parlay on Pitt and the over. A great running game is perfect for Pitt to break in a new QB. I don't think Utah has the talent to stay close. Pitt jumps out early and cruises late.

Still on MTSU at home. Minnesota has no offense. Decker was the only bright spot on a bad team last year and when he went down with the ankle, the offense stalled. Weber is wild and Grey, while athletic, is awful with the ball. MTSU is missing the qb, but Minnesota is not going to score enough for it to matter. MTSU runs away at home.

Moore and Johnson are legit. I think Duke is going to have more trouble with Purdue than most think. I remember Duke losing to LSU in the Sweet 16 in 2006, Michigan St in the Sweet 16 in 2005, and Villanova last year. I had Duke on the moneyline in all three of those. Be careful with Duke in this spot. |

I just hope nobody on Baylor pulls a Rick Jackson tonight. I still can't believe how awful he was last night. Oh well, getting it back on Baylor on the ML and a parlay on Baylor ML and MSU. Best of luck.

The worst game on the board this week. I think Duke pulls it out, but I would like to see Purdue win. I am staying away.

This game depends on which Tennessee shows up. Is it the Tennessee that beat KU and UK, or is it the Tennessee that looks like wet dog shit. If Tennessee plays there "A" game, Ohio State is going home. Tennessee has the athletes to run at Turner and Chism will have his way with Lauderdale. But if Tennessee sleepwalks onto the court, its OSU running away. My guess is Tennessee comes to play, Bruce Pearl sweats through a couple of blazers, and the Vols get it done. Tennessee with the straight up win.

Baylor, huge. The Bears have enough in the paint with Acy and Udoh to limit Samhan and look for Tweety Carter to use his speed to get to the lane on the SMC guards. Baylor, Baylor, Baylor, and some more Baylor.

Michigan State. The element of suprise is gone. UNI can play. Izzo has enough time to break them down and give has boys the game plan. Raymar Morgan will be the difference in the paint. MSU will be able to close out on 3's and UNI will have to play from behind. Sparty in the elite eight.

West Virginia is playing short handed with Mazzulla on the court. He is going to turn out to be a big liability with his inability to hit jumpers or free throws. Thomas and Overton will be able to sag off him and help out on Butler and company. Washington is going to make WVU play quicker than they want and they are going to outlast the Mountaineers. Washington in the 1st half and the game.

Cuse on the ML. Butler could scrap and keep it close with the 3 ball. I am going to lay the extra cash and play the Orange straight up. Looking for Wesley Johnson to not settle for early jump shots and take the ball to the rack and create. Jackson needs to stay on the court and out of foul trouble. Would like to see Rautins light is up from deep.

Don't over think this game. KSU has more fire power. They are battle tested. This game is going to look like the KSU game vs. Oklahoma State in the Big 12 tourney where KSU went up BIG early and coasted down the stretch. Xavier has some talent, but KSU is primed and ready to make a run. KSU vs. Cuse Saturday night is going to be a great one.
