James, Chalmers and Wade are supposed to be out. That's why the line jumped.

I agree, but I hope that these threads popping up calling attention to that thread doesn't attract the trolls to screw up the vibe in Mavin's thread.
I lurk in there and I think its one of the few threads that I can actually read through without seeing post and post of negativity. If you guys like these cappers, why not let them know and hit them up one on one? |

I think that Bobcat win last night has given people some wily ideas.
But for the sake of argument, will they cover? I've been keeping an eye on their ATS record against sub .500 teams (at the time that they play them--thus this includes the Lakers). I think they sometimes play the games close/take it easy to make it appear that there is competition when they play crap teams. But they show up big when they play their strong likely playoff competition. Since Jan. they are 9-8 overall. 5-2 on the road (they covered -8½ at Philly in Feb.) The line is at 8½ again? Yeah, sure, the Heat is going to struggle tonight and the 76ers are going to make Papa Collins proud. I'm on the Heat. If I lose then damn Stern! That's who I'll pick to blame. |

Like all but NY. My local is at -7.5. Something tells me this game will be closer than it should be.

His attitude isn't right. But he has plenty of company in that realm.
Why is it when some of these thread starters go on a slump, the pitch a b*tch fit and do the equivalent of "I'm getting my ball and I'm going home!" Nobody wins 100%. If you want the attention when you win then expect it when you lose. |

Oh and maybe LA could hit half of their shots? Draw some fouls to make it to the FT line? Stuff a team that wants to win would do.

The only hope with this OVER is that Denver pushes the pace and gets down the floor but they've been letting LA control the pace all night (even with the shitty defense). Not nearly as much run and gun as they usually have at home.
