@Bridge1 While Houston / T Tech Over 63 certainly was heading for a loss, the 23 points in OT gives you a Push I believe))) Thanks for all you do!

Now we're talking!!!
I would think the change of possession after a touch has to be attributed to something! |

1st play of 2nd half - onside kick touched by Indy player and recovered by NO - is that considered a fumble?

Mr Bator,
Any opinion on Tor over TB tonight. Kazmir has struggled this year, and while Tallet is no sure thing he has generally given his team a chance to win when he has started this year. I don't believe the high price on TB is quite justified tonight. Thought? |

Had Tor RL as well, listening to the game on radio and by the sounds of the call Lind's winning double just missed going out by a couple of feet. Haven't seen the replay yet, may not want to watch. BOL going forward.

Last Sunday/Monday AL summary at 6-5-1, although games with strong under trends went 3-1-1.
This Sunday with the upcoming All Star break will we see the games played and umpired with a 'let's get'em done' type of attitude, with under being the play of the day? What are the strongest potential under AL plays for Sunday? The trends suggest that both Cle/Det and KC/Bos have the most potent lean towards the under, but chime in with your thoughts. |

Sunday AL games 3-3-1 overall, but games with strong under trends (see Post #2) were 3-0-1.
Mondays AL game with the strongest under trend is Tor-NYY, though those 2 teams in that ballpark??? However, how often does it happen that the day after a boatload of runs are scored, the teams struggle to score at all? The other 4 games do feature 6 of the 8 teams involved having traveled, for whatever that may be worth. I'll keep tracking to see if the Sunday/Monday AL under bias continues. |

To this point games with strong Sunday under trends 2-0-1, with Sunday night baseball to go! Will start to check out strong under trends for Monday's AL games, as Monday AL non Interleague games were 14-0 to the under in June. Will keep tracking, we'll see if the reversal is near or the unders keep showing up. |

The question is of course why that differential exists, and if there is a tangible reason how best to exploit it. That is why a look at previous seasons would be interesting, in order to better determine whether this is a true 'trend' or just a random occurrence that will even itself out over time. It will be interesting to see if the pattern continues, and it's well worth a watch. Now for today, how many of the hitters are battling the after effects of 4th of July celebrations? |

There exists an incredible bias towards the Under in the American League (excluding Interleague play) on Sundays and Mondays, with June finishing at 19 unders and 2 overs (using Covers scoreboard). May was + .500 at 23 and 21, and even the 'over' month of April was 20 and 16. Getaway days, hangover days, not sure. Has anyone tracked this in previous seasons, as I'm not sure yet if this year is the continuation of a trend or not (obviously June was an anomaly).
Curious how the day after the 4th of July celebrations in your fine land will affect the Sunday totals in the AL, and whether the under parade will continue. Worth checking out though. Cheers, and enjoy the Holiday! |

Have sent friend request (and another honor bestowed!) But seriously, I have read and learned much from the many knowledgeable contributors to Covers, so figured a post or two could not hurt. Thanks for your help, and if you could pass on the secret ingredient whenever you have time.

Has Grandpa provided any clarity to the 4th filter of the system? Bite with the bark", I believe it was. Thanks for sharing.
