Smaller conferences are hosted on a schools home floor.  Not sure which and where this year but can't be too hard to figure out.

A couple of notes.  Josh Norman can't qualify as the best CB in the league when you only cover one side of the field.  I.E. Richard Sherman.  Secondly, Tennessee D only gave up a TD to Minnesota.  Not a whole lot they can do about the O turning it over for 6 on multiple occasions.

The line of 4.5 seems way too low for a lone game on the first Sunday of the season.  ND blew this same team out last year.  Makes me think Texas is the play here.  All opinions are welcome.

First time poster in this thread.  Some of the reasons for betting games on here are highly questionable.  Because the Dodgers won 15-0 shows you they have a deep bullpen?  I don't see how that is relevant.  Anywho, onto my plays.

STL vs PIT
Being a St. Louisan,  I get to see these guys play everyday.  Opening Day was a bit deceiving due to the weather in Pit and is likely to be a factor again this evening.  The birds bats will be very, very anemic for a lot of the year.  They didn't address the SS situation with as much urgency as they should have.  Losing Peraltas power (one of few power sources on the roster) is going to effect them more than they think.  They will look much better today then Sunday, but we haven't hit lefties not named Kershaw since the 80s.  Wacha has that competitor mentality that he learned from Wainwright, so I fully expect him to sharp and eager to get back on the hill.  Cold weather=huge pitching advantage.

$$$$ Under 7 $$$$

My two cents on the other games:
Verlander hasn't been himself for three years.  His WHIP over the last three years is somewhere around 1.3.  Not to mention the Tigers offense is nothing to write home about.  Marlins are a team headed in the opposite direction.  Young and stocked with talent.  **Give me Chen and the Fish

I have no idea how Milwaukee expects to score runs this year.  They are very, very, very bad.  Not to mention their pitching staff is guys that may not start on some minor league teams.
**Giants

Shelby Miller pitched really, really well last year.  Unfortunately the Braves offense didn't show up to any of his starts.  The loss of Pollock is gonna sting, but Goldy and the boys should get things going tonight Bettis who is, how do you say, not very good....
**Snakes

Got any input on the North Texas/UTSA game?  I can't find why the line is so low.  UNT should be 6 or so.

So why won't Chip Kelly coach the game of his life against a guy who falsely accused and or inferred him of being a racist. Why does the media and common folks kind of side with a player just because he says so. Funny how that works.

The problem with Chip Kelly coaching the game of his life is that he can't throw a pass, make a tackle, catch a ball, kick a ball, run a ball, etc.  He can call the perfect play every time, and it still could turn into a turnover due to his teams lack of skill.

Let's be real here. The lions defense shit all over the packers offense just a week ago

Seeing that Toledo has covered every game so far this year, the law of averages says they should be coming back down to earth soon.  Almost happend last week against a much inferior team, definitely going happen tonight about an equally talented team.  The MAC is crazy and nothing is ever as it seems.  Especially on Tuesday nights.  Northern Illinois +7

First time poster to your thread, but long time follower.  You're analysis for games is incredibly accurate and when we can get a bunch of minds together to talk football instead of banter back and forth, this site becomes much more productive.

That being said, in the MNF game, I see you have the Chiefs in your 10 pt tease, but I'm thinking a traditional 6 pt tase of the Pack and the under.  Thoughts on the game?

Sorry so late guys...real quick.

UCONN/Memphis under...game shouldn't get to 125.  Too much size for uconn but memphis has the athletcism to guard UCONNs guards.

Cal may be the worst 17 win team I've ever seen...but they have some good personal talent that can't play together.  18 is still too many to give up though so Bears for me

Other three im on is Eastern Washington, Utah and Stanford

Penn St. has played everyone on their schedule tough for the most part, and Ohio St. can't really figure out their road woes.  PSU has lost 7 of their games by six points or less.  I'm looking at the line at 5.5 right now and love it.  Newbills last game at home so there should be some pride involved as well.  Not to mention OSU has Wisconsin coming to Columbus to end the year this weekend.  Small look ahead for the Buckeyes as well.  I like Penn St to cover the number and potentially win this game outright.

Louisville and Notre Dame should both be able to do whatever they want on the offensive end of the floor.  Louisville will pressure ND and the Irish have the guards and experience to handle it.  It should lead to a few easy buckets after they break the press.  Louisville has the definite advantage inside and Harrell should feast.  I like the over and lean ND.

Binghamton is absolutely disgraceful.  Stony Brook can actually play a bit and I think have a great shot at winning their conference tournament.  They own the glass, and that doesn't change tonight.  Stony Brook by 18 or so.

Purdue continues to look better and better and continues to get no love from the boys and girls in Vegas.  Their size can't be matched inside.  Hammonds is a terrific defensive player and is really coming into his own on the offensive end.  Michigan state has been playing much better as of late, but don't have an answer inside, so the Boilers and the points...again.

Duke plays the style of game that Wake Forest wants to play.  THey want to run, get out off of misses and go.  THat leads to easy transition buckets.  Deacons aren't in any danger of beating Duke at Cameron but with UNC on deck on Saturday, 18 points is too many for me.  I like Wake and the points.

Running out of time here guys:  Miami is quietly playing their way into the bubble talk while it looks as though Pitt is playing their way off the bubble.  Dont see that changing tonight so the Canes is a lean.

Oregon, Tulsa and TCU also look appealing...hopefully i'll be back before they tip.

Hey thank you very much.  We have a pretty bad rap when it comes to the media, especially since the Mike Brown debacle, but for the most part, I'm proud of where I was born and raised.  As everyone should be.

Good evening again ladies and gents.  We are getting to my favorite, and most unpredictable, part of the season.  Conference tourneys and then post season tourneys.  I focus more on the smaller tournaments only for the sole reason that Vegas focus' less on them.

my thoughts on tonights games:

Georgia is physical enough to play with Kentucky...im not sayiing they win...but they could, and for that reason i'll take the points.

Kansas/WV under.....thats all.

AM is quite a bit better then florida.  Florida is still getting points based on last years team, for whatever reason.  AM rolls.

Just got in the door from work...where this website is blocked on the server...Didn't get to watch the Virginia game but from the looks of it Cuse had something figured out early and Virginia adjusted? This Iowa St game is bananas.  Oh to be there for this one!!  8:00 to play and OU is straight up, baffled.  And BC is taking care of business in Blacksburg.  Anyone looked at anything for tomorrow yet?

I've had tomorrow circled on the schedule for Iowa St for almost a month.  One, Oklahoma wants to run, and that is when Iowa St excels.  Especially at home.  Ames is a very underrated home-court.  Place is ROWDY! Which leads me to my next point.  Its Senior Night and time to say goodbye to Dejean-Jones, Mr. Do-It-All.  Atmosphere should be electric!!  Cyclones by double digits.

Texas has to win.  Not a whole lot else to be said.  Isaiah Taylor is a great guard and will have to play well, but more importantly Ridley and Turner, especially Turner, have to show up.  Myles Turner could be the most underrated freshman in the country.  Baylor is playing very well lately.  I don't like the number.  Its a no go for me unless it moves to a pickem.

I like Virginia tomorrow.  Don't love them though.  Its too hard to tell if Syracuse is gonna have any pride and show up despite the disaster of a season they have had.  Line says Vegas thinks they show up.  I have a hard time trusting that.  I'll take the Cavs to secure a #1 in the dance.

BC/VTech should be ugly.  But both teams play hard so gotta give them some credit. Oliver Hanlan is a great player on a bad team.  Just don't trust BC to win a road game.  Im off it.

Rodney Purvis tripled his season scoring average.  No way to see that coming.  There is no excuse for Iona though.  They didn't look interested in even playing until about the 10:00 mark o the second half.  They won't beat Manhattan again if they play like that.

UCONN is shooting a great 3 percentage.  SMU gonna need to start guarding the 3 better if they are gonna pull this thing out
ryno23

The fact that St. Pete has gotten out to an early lead doesn't bode well for us Iona backers.  Now they can slow the game down and take Iona out of what they want to do on offense which is run run run and get a shot within 10 seconds.  We will what kind of adjustments are made at half time.
