A sweep obviously wasn’t important to the Warriors last year when they blatantly laid down in Game 4, allowing the Cavaliers to pour in an astonishing 86 points in the 1st half. If a sweep didn’t matter a year ago when the Warriors were revenging the embarrassment from the year before, then why will it matter now? Kyrie Irving was a Cavalier last season, and he’s the guy who buried the Warriors with a championship-clinching 3-pointer in Game 7 two years ago. If the Warriors didn’t care about sticking it to him, then why will they care about sticking it to guys like Rodney Hood or Jordan Clarkson?

Thanks, DogbiteWlliams.  That was valuable info.

I'm not involved in tonight's game, Achilles.  I wish I hadn't gotten involved in Monday night's game, either.  D'oh....

I can't help but roll my eyes whenever I see someone calling for a blowout while he's nervously buying a point and teasing his team down, too.  C'mon, man.

Letdown....celebrating....smiling.........fat and heavy.  What a total mischaracterization of this Boston team.  The Celtics will be looking to kick these tired nags again on Saturday night and one more time on Monday night.  Then they'll celebrate (a little).

If the Rockets wimp out again tonight, I think they'll blitz the Warriors on Sunday in Game 3.  They'll beat 'em and bet 'em bad, raining 3-point shots all night long.

Brad Stevens and his boys are gonna give the Warriors all they can handle.  What a series that will be.

Great win, SharpStatsGuy, on your playoffs game of the year.  If this series returns to TD Garden for a Game 5, the Celtics will close these guys out with another double-digit win.  I actually expect a potential Game 5 clincher to be a major blowout.

Actually, Tom Brady was one of the smart celebrities who knew better than to reveal his political leanings. It was known that he was friendly with Trump in the past, but Brady has kept his opinions to himself since well before the election.

SFlens seems to be doing his part in keeping America hateful. It’s the leftist way of life.

An over-react with a line adjustment?  The  Celtics are Pick 'em.  They should've been -5.5 yesterday and they should be -4.5 for Game 2!

The harder (and smarter) you work, the luckier you tend to get.

I think every game in this series will be a good spot for the C's.

I expect the Cavs to lose every game at TD Garden by double digits.  They will be strictly non-competitive on the parquet.  In fact I'll be mildly surprised if they cover even one spread in this series.
