That was great BB.
Now that we have passed the best situational spot for the cavs, for the bet to do at this point is the celtics series price.
The C could lose tomorrow(i am very tempted to bet on them,Stevens effect will be felt again after today) but they won t lose the series.
What i am a little perplexed on is the unsecurity the young players of boston seem to have when on the road

I think it's the right play BB.Just please dont go with too much cash into it.What you're basically betting is lebron pouring 40 points and at the same time the rest going for 50% for three. You could regret that.

What about the rockets today? It looks tempting from a motivational standpoint. What do you guys think?

NBA Betting / Cavs - 6.5 / View Post
This line si quite a question mark.I would have expected the line makers to adjust to the first 2 games and set it at 3.5 or 4.5.Instead here we are, like the L never happened.Does this tell us something about their expectations?
It's SO OBVIOUS that public will go with the celtics spread. Are they going to give money for free?
If you want to discuss this..

I would refrain from a Cavs game 2 bet. That's all i will say...
But i find it hard too to imagine Golden State 0 - 2 to Houston.very unprobable the way gs has been playing

The cavs unfortunately fro them match up terrible with Boston. They are pretty much outmatched.
Frankly i dont expect anything great from Lebron in this series.Boston has the elements to stop him.if they started thompson at center it would be much better for them,he would add some perimeter D and would for ce boston to use Baynes;but i doubt Lue is going to think about it.
The plan is:Boston ML for every game of this series. The value is just crazy.

ps:for the people who believe NBA has a scheme,do you really think the league wants the same matchup 4 times in a row?Gs vs a team who they have beaten last year that is now even weaker?
Would that be interesting or terribly boring?isn't better a team lead by a great coach with a lot of new characters for a new rivalry?

Give me boston series + ML every game apart from game 3 in case of 2 - 0 at home.

Game 1 is a good spot for GSW. All the pressure is on HOU to hold serve because the onus is on them to prove they can beat the champs. Warriors just need a split and game 1 is the perfect spot to put doubt into the opponent's heads.

I think Kerr starts the Hamptons Five lineup. Going small is how GSW will take it to HOU. Playing big means Capela can stay and protect the paint which GSW will try to avoid. Draymond Green only has trouble against one type of big man, which is those who have a lower core than his activity can't push off the block, namely Steven Adams. Capela is strong but not built that way, and having played AD last series GSW will be prepared for what they can expect from Capela.

CP3 and Capela will be the key to this series. GSW has some insane points per possession given up in these playoffs when defending isolation plays. Houston is primarily an isolation team that either feeds their 3 and D wings, or lobs to Capela via their two play makers.

If Capela's impact is somewhat neutralized, Houston usually plays either CP3/Harden/Gordon/2 of Ariza Tucker Mbah a Moute... or they go with their 3 main 3 and D guys and the two superstars. That should be a win for GSW as well.

A lot has to go right for Houston to push GSW. Klay is one of the best at defending Harden without fouling, and I would imagine Iggy will start on CP3.

I've got GSW in 6.

I quite doubt they are going to go with the death lineup immediately...they are going to get tired too quick.Maybe from the 3-4 game

3. "running on fumes" LOL-the Rockets are getting as much rest as the Warriors and you haven't seen them play their best ball yet either

4. Inexperience hasn't stopped all the Celtics all year.

5. You say Cavs will not make the mistakes Philly made but they repeadedly choked away big leads and gave up big leads to the Indiana Pacers all series in the 1st Round.

6. The Rockets bench is much better than the Warriors.

7. How is Boston more flawed than a Cavs team giving Jeff Green and Cedi Osman major minutes? The Warriors are trotting out Quinn Cook, Jordan Bell and a decrepit Shaun Livingston off the bench for christ sakes.

Rockets in 7

Celtics in 6

Covers posters will get buried in these conference finals pounding the Cavs and Warriors. an_shake

I guess yo havent't seen the warriors play in the postseason...in the regular they had nothing to prove and were coasting all the time...
but in the playoffs things changed fast.they have more phisiality than the rockets, and are more intense...have igoudala and thompson to matchup very well vs the best players of the rockets. And to add, they have only 2 players who can really make plays and pass the ball. How many the warriors have?

I dont think the warriors are going to lose here.

Of course he does, but motivation isn't always enough to win games,if we have a showdown where he is limited and a pacers-style show from his teammates, what do you think is going to happen?
Esepcially with an incompetent coach as lue... curious to see the first five of boston too.I bet on rozier-brown-tatum-morris-horford.Baynes out to match thompson in the paint?

I also think in cavs bos it will go a lot on the refs.the celtics play WWE defense most of the time,if the refs allow it vs the cavs, the series is won for them...all that pushing and holding vs an old team like the cavs would be very effective
begginerboy

To sum it all... the cavs in game 1 could be a good bet, surely not a great one, they shouldn't be at even money on the road;i would bet more on the warriors to take game 1.

I like a ton the warriors play. What they showed in the playoffs is a completely different thing from the regular season.Especially the D impressed me.Now,i am actually curious who is going to start at center for them...checking capela and harden on rolls is a key role.I think bell is the best fit,but i think mcgee is gonna get the start.
About the cavs, they could steal game 1,but i actually think boston will win the series.
Reasons:
-Lebron made such a difference the first 2 rounds beacuse he didn't have anyone guarding him tightly.Boston has Brown,Smart,Yabousele,Horford who can guard him.
-atheticism on the wings.I dont see korver and smith hang with tatum and brown.Cavs are going to let a lot of points in the paint and  a lot of open threes.
-coaching obviously

Unless i am underestimating lebron the cavs are going to lose!
(i have cavs to win the conf,i will edge i think)

Not really, the OT was needed  to win that one.
By the way i haven't come here to troll.Mine is serious question:do you intend to double in Game 2?
Seems like Lebron has some kind of injury that prevented him to train the morning before the game.
I doubt the crazy shooting will repeat itself.

Hmm i am following you for a while and i think you 're great, you have a great system that allows you to rank a team in i have to say a greatly appropiate matter. But you have to admit that things change,The cavs are not the same team of the reagular season...not with lebron in win mode and the defense stepping up.Your numbers on them are wrong..and they would be even worse if they had a coach up to the job.
If he played a center(Zizic and thompson) to start with they would be a better team for example.
In any case, what am is saying is that you're leaving too much psycology out of the equation.

Be careful guys.
Star power in the playoffs usually counts more than team play.
Dont go too big with this bet.Still saying that even though i like Jazz too
