I asked the same thing in another thread. I thought it was weird too, only because if people want to say mid tenn beating them by 24 last week was an anomaly which is probably was, its still a home championship game for middle tenn vs a banged up UAB team |

This line keeps dropping towards UAB and i can't figure out why unless people are betting on the fact they just played last week and its hard beating the same team twice. But as far as i know UAB still has a banged up Oline, the game is a home game for Middle Tenn. and MTSU has the more consistent QB. Anything out there that im missing? |

In the CLemson/Wake FOrest game? i am still reeling from that loss. Total is sitting at 59 with 40 seconds left in the game, Clemson up 56-3. Its third and ten, clemson does a basic hand off that turns into a 60 yard touchdown to end the game. Not sure ive ever been part of such a bad beat |

Yeah their offense is very stale, and now they will be without their best defense Sean Lee for a few weeks shocker shocker. Oline which is/was their strength doesnt look nearly as dominant as it once did. Lions got to be feeling pretty good after beating the Pats in primetime, i think they can keep it going. |

and thats mid 30s bare minimum...could very well be a 42-21 type game, not sure i am going to bet it but good luck on whatever you take. |

I took the 17 points with Wyoming and hope for a slower paced, low scoring close game. Maybe Boise by 7-10. ?? Boise State is off a bye also and with a much more experienced team. I think Wyomings defense can keep them in the game early but Boise will probably start to overpower them in the second half would be my guess after too many 3 and outs for Wyoming offense |

Talent - Cal has been bringing in very mediocre recruiting classes over the past 7-8 years with mostly 3-star recruits and maybe one to three 4-star recruits. Meanwhile, Oregon has been bringing in significantly better recruits with mostly 4-star and an occasional 5-star recruit. 2. System - Oregon has been running the spread offense for years, while Cal hired a new head coach and coaching staff this season (i.e. Justin Wilcox to replace air raid coach Sunny Dykes). It takes time to gel and really pick up a whole new system, don't think Cal is quite there yet. 3. Resume - Cal beat UNC in week one but they did it with a +4 turnover margin and still only won by 7. Their week two win against BYU, at BYU, with a -1 turnover margin and outgaining BYU significantly was impressive. Meanwhile Oregon hung tough and was very close to beating #7 Stanford this past week. Over the years, Cal has had many marquee games such as this where both teams are ranked, the Big Game, etc. and they typically do not deliver. I don't see any reason they do it here. Not with this group of guys and not this early on.
Not that i disagree Oregon is going to win, but Cal hired Justin Wilcox last year, not this year. So the players have been in the system |

I just put in a bet for under 33 in the first half. TCU is the much better team but not a high scoring unit even going back to last year and they only have 5 starters back on offense this year. I would think SMU is going to struggle to score on them, AND may be some bad weather during the game. I know they have a flash food warning in dallas all the way through tomorrow so i expect at least some rain. |

My initial instinct was to go heavy on Mississippi State, but Bill Snyder USUALLY plays up to competition and gets KSU to keep it close even when they have less talent. Can they keep it 9.5 close is debatable, but i do lean MSST. Colorado State is already starting to look like an auto fade within reason. Defense is atrocious.

Washington starting left tackle is out for this game as of this morning. Just something to know |

Yup. Losing Sam Beal late to the supplemental draft did not help. |

I would normally say yes, but with a new first time head coach, this is a big moment for him. I don't think he would let the team slack. Also UConn only has two starters back on defense. Its a rough game for the Huskies to open up with. |
