Mike leach starts his Pac 10 career and maybe his pass happy offensive will follow with him from Texas Tech. BYU will return majority of there starters from last year. Riley Nelson coming into his senior year has progressed very quickly last year after taking over of Heaps. Young receiving core last year hurt their offense but this year will be completely different specifically with Hoffman as a target. If there defense stays healthy BYU could put together quite the season.

Both these colleges are coming off sad 2011 seasons. UNLV on the other hand went 2-10 in the Mountain West Division. Possibly the worst in college football and that trend should continue this season. There players are probably hanging out at the Las Vegas Strip more then they should be. With that being said they will field a better team then last year and at times their offense will look pretty good. Ultimately both these teams are going to have long and somewhat painful seasons ahead of them. You have to take a |

Huge question marks on both sides. No identities have been established and this game is a toss up. UCLA is more experienced and should handle this Rice team but nothing surpirses me when it comes to UCLA football. And Rice team is so young, could be hungry at home. Alot better out there, your better off staying away.

Good SEC East matchup to start the season. Let’s start with Vanderbilt on the other side should be improved. Jordan Rodgers the brother of the world renowned Aaron; took over a Vandy team as QB last year and showed why he has the starting job this year. He’s quick on his feet and has a strong arm and Vandy hopes there will be great connection between him and Jordan Matthews Jr. who will be there main target. Vandy does hinge a lot on Zac Stacey (RB) and he should have a great senior season. Although Vandy has improved on paper offensively, its defense in the SEC that wins games and Vandy has nothing to write home about. Vanderbilt fans will be rowdy and there home team should have a decent 7-8 win season but tonight won’t be one of those wins. Lattimore and Shaw will be very efficient against Vandy defense and start the season with a good road win. The commodores offensive will be stagnant at times in both the run and pass tonight. |

This game is at Madison square garden people. Kansas is not HOME tonight. With that said 11 is alot for a Kansas team to cover that that has looked very shaky. They lost 3 starters and to be completely honest marcus morris has made plenty of mistakes early on. Im not saying Memphis is playing any better at the moment but they do have their two many scorers returning and a top 5 highschool recruit. Ill take Memphis to cover, they will compete with the jayhawks. Memphis+11 |

Bucks+8.5. Celtics playing back to back game with a very old team. As bad as Bucks look to start season, their squad aint half bad. they will stay with the celtics and after KG's comments to Villanueva last night, Bucks rally around for the former teammate. Bucks+8.5 |

Great matchup here for a nice thursday night ACC game. Florda State is coming off a convincing win against the U and then winning in ugly fashion against the lowly BC eagles. NC state on the other hand has played very consistent all year except againt E Carolina(Who has a solid offense and isnt as bad as most of you think). In my opinion both these teams are very equivalent across the board. Both offenses are very quick and able to go down the feild in a hurry. Although Florida St does hold a #16 ranking, to be completely honest I just dont see how that is for a team who was smoked by Oklahoma and really only has one big win against a Miami team that quite frankly hasn't lived up to its hype. When Miami is bad they are horrific and Florida state beat them up on one of those nites. NC state on the other hand has played well and yes they lost to Vtech but Vtech has been on track since those first 2 losses and I can see them Finishing out with all W's. I will take NC state here in this spot, They are home and playing in a huge spot on National Television. Look for them to take the early lead in this game and to hold on in a tight game. NC State+4 |

Army runs runs runs and runs the hell out of the ball. Playing in neutral site where there will be an even amount of fans for both teams and at the meadowlands where the wind today is awful....How can Army +7 not be a gift against a rutgers team that really could use Ray Rice in a game like this. I see Army in a close one covering and even winning straight out. ARMY 24 ; Rutgers 20 |

Both teams are pretty well matched. Both are having some trouble defensively and although Louisville may have the slight edge this game comes down to one thing...Turnovers. Offensively Cincy is more sound, Zach Collaros has a great football IQ, Yes I know his O line isnt the greatest and there will be sacks but Collaros doesnt make mistakes. He has one pick only and for a guy always running for his life out of the pocket that says alot. Cincy offensive has the advantage with him and their just an overall more athletic team. I will take a team who has played tougher games an has competed well. Give me the better QB and the better playmakers tonight. Cincy should get it done in a close game. CINCY -3 |

This Marshall team is awful. Yeah they played WVU good but that game was so sloppy for the mountainers. NOTHING went right for them and they still came out with the win in the last 5 mins. Marshall has no offense and their defense wont stop a UCF team that is rolling. UCF now runs what they call the "Wild Knight" formation where backup Calabrese comes in and he has a strong arm and is also not afraid to run. The UCF defense has also been very strong and dont forget this is the UCF team that kept up with NC state. Easily see UCF winning by double digits on the road. UCF 28 ; Marshall 14 |

Last week UConn showed that theres at least one big east team that can cover a spread against a legit out of conference team. Yeah I know it was vandy, but even the worst SEC teams can win against 75% of the Big East conference. With that said UConn seems to be running their offense on all cylinders now while the same cant be said for the scarlet knights. Last year their offense ranked last in the big east even behind a solid O line. And this year that O line has a bunch of new faces on it and three and outs seem to occur quite often. Savage wont have plenty time to throw and the run game wont get much push from up front either against huskies D. As long as Uconn plays a good mix of pass and run like they did against Vandy points will be scored. Rutgers wont keep up with Uconn and the huskies should easily win by at least a TD on the road in the dirty Jerz. The Under is also a good play in this game. HUSKIES 27 ; SCARLET KNIGHTS 13 |
