Football is quickly approaching - which book are you using this season?
in Gaming Industry - US
Looking for a book this year with a variety of plays for this upcoming NCAA and NFL football season.
Used Bovada last year and will never use them and their garbage lines again. Curious in trying Heritage? Don't they accept new players within a few weeks from the start of the season? Which book are you using for this season? Help a brother out!

My advice is just make a small deposit. Nothing more than you are willing to lose.
Also make small cashouts. Seems like those checks get through easier than most. I'm really hoping something solid comes out by football season. At this point, I have no action with anyone and it suxxx.

Just confirmed from @ToddFuhrman on Twitter:
"that is correct, it's as though the Celtics don't even exist"

Here's what it says on the most recent Futures sheet I've seen
"Wagers on the Boston Celtics are not being accepted. If the Celtics win the Pro Basketball Championship, the team playing them will be recognized as the team with the best finish and would be considered the winner for wagering purposes." This sheet I'm reading was from April 2012.

My last trip to Vegas was in July 2011 and I placed
a NBA Futures pick at Caesars Palace for the Thunder to win at 8-1. If memory
serves me correctly, I think I read at the time that the book wasn't accepting
action on Boston Celtics. I was curious IF both OKC/Boston advance to the
finals, does this make OKC an automatic winner?

The rooms are cheap at Ballys and the $20 trick will land you a strip side view. The beds really suck though.

I like the location of NY NY myself. The rooms aren't bad either. MGM is right across the street.

I did this at Planet Hollywood just last weekend and it worked like a charm. Got a room next to the elevator and a postcard view of the strip right outside my window.

LOVE Vegas. Have lost track of how many trips I've made but have enjoyed every single of them. Excalibur isn't a bad spot for your first stay. Ballys has incredible cheap rooms and even better location. The poker room is incredibly soft there as well.
This site has loads of goods tips and hints about Vegas in general. Definitely worth reading - discusses a lil bit of everything. I always tell people to wear comfortable shoes. You'll be doing LOADS of walking. Wear a watch or make note of the time on your phone. There are NO clocks or sense of time in Las Vegas. I've had loads of success tipping the front desk guy $20 at the hotel upon check-in. When he asks for my ID and credit card, I sandwich the $20 in the middle of the two. As I hand him my cards, I ask for a room with a strip side view or near an elevator. You get a room upgrade almost every time. |

I'm tired of dealing with Bovada's lines and looking to try out a new book for NBA playoffs and upcoming NFL.
Heard several good things about Heritage but I think you need an invite to join. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated and thanks!
