"Game of the Year Blowout"??? not a chance. Ole Miss is the one getting blown out in this game. Snead may have came into his own for Ole Miss, but he can't even play in the Big 12.
Comparing the last 3 games of the season is totally misleading.

Ooba...You have an avatar of Matthew McConaughey which is disconcerting and gives you zero credibility.
Tech wins!!!

Marmon..agree with your assessment. Tech rolls on Ole Miss today.

Ole Miss better D....nothing surprising with that. Ole Miss on a 5 game win streak...been a month since then. Tech's main two offensive contributors have been injured...had a month to get better. Harrell and Leach have something to prove in this game.
Sneed is an average QB who relies on a successful run game. He cannot pass toe to toe with Tech. He's not that good.
Tech covers this game

I think Ole Miss defense is inconsistent at best. Not sure about the over, but they don't hang with Tech.

Ole Miss at +10.5 might get you there, but not + 4.5.

I don't think you can call the Rebels are VERY good SEC team. They might make the classification of Good. A very good SEC team doesn't lose to Wake, Vandy or South Carolina. They were 2-2 against top 25 teams and Tech was 3-1 so there is no real advantage there.
Sneed is an average quarterback who couldn't cut it at Texas. He's got help which he needs desperately because he can't do it on his own.
The layoff helps Tech way more than it helps the Rebels who were on a 5 game win streak. Yes the Rebel team is much better than the one that knocked off the Gators, but the Gator team would crush them right now so what does that really mean.
Tech wins this game by a minimum of 7 and it's a possible blow out.

I totally agree with TSW's comments on this game. Air Force had all the factors working in their favor the first game. I see Houston winning by a Touchdown or more. GL |

I'm playing Houston in this one, but they are a very Jekyll and Hyde team. When they're on they can play with anyone. Now it's just a matter of which team shows up today.

Rice has played the Spread Offense for the past 2 seasons under the same Coach David Bailiff. In 2006 they were coached by Todd Graham who left for Tulsa after the end of the season and they also ran a type of Spread Offense so I'm not sure where you're getting this learning curve stuff. They ran the option under Ken Hatfield which none of these players were involved with.
Chase Clement is a very good quarterback with a very accurate arm. I don't know much about Western Michigan, but the Rice team is no fluke. |

I wouldn't pay attention to someone who has a Detroit Lions avatar even if it is Barry Sanders running. I think the Florida - OU game is good matchup. The line will be close but unless Florida plays better than they did against Alabama they will get their heads handed to them. Tebow can't do it by himself against OU.

Taking OU -10 & Florida - 2 1/2
OU way stronger than Mizzou and if it's close at some point, it won't end up that way.
Bama may be better than what the linesmakers are giving them credit for, but they don't win this game. Florida has too much offense for the younger Bama team.
GL today!

I totally agree with tgarfield on this game. I follow the Cougars closely and they are a Jekyll and Hyde team. They could beat Rice by 30 or win right at the end of the game or not show up and get beat....However, since this is a big game for them I think they'll show up. They have one of the best QB's in the nation who can put tons of points on the board. This really isn't a road game for the Cougars since Rice is located in Houston and neither school has much crowd support.
I take the over and maybe a small bet on Houston. GL
