Still cant find a single reason to back Miami.........
As Miami prepares to start its third-string quarterback and backup center Thursday night against the Chicago Bears in Sun Life Stadium, Sparano noted that quarterback Tyler Thigpen and center Cory Procter are at least familiar with one another at this point in the season. ``The butt that the hands have been under is the same,'' Sparano said. ``How's that? Familiar butt.'' In other words, Thigpen and Procter have been practicing with each other all season because of their roles with the scout-team offense. That's the good news. The bad news? Those repetitions haven't included the rest of the first-team offense at all. Bears' first trip to face Dolphins here since 2002 is one of five Week 11 games between teams with winning records and presents a tough task as the locals try to inch up the playoff-contention ladder. Might Miami even fall to 0-3 this season in prime-time home games? Alas, yes. Chicago always is dicey to predict because erratic Jay Cutler can run the gamut from mistake-addled to brilliant -- and the Dolphins have a chance against a shaky Bears OL to bring out the Bad Jay. The thing is, there is nothing erratic about Chicago's defense. It is steadily very good, giving up the league's second-fewest points, in fact, and fourth-fewest yards. And Miami (you might have heard) is not only on a short week but also dealing with serious injury challenges. Tyler Thigpen's mobility could bring a jolt of needed spark and variety to Miami's offense, but let's also acknowledge Thigpen is an undersized third-string quarterback with a 1-10 career record as an NFL starter. Oh, almost forgot: Devin Hester vs. Dolphins' special teams Im not buying into the Chicago "Defense" hype. Take a quick look at who they have played. The combined record for teams they have played is 30-51. Here are their road wins:
1. Dallas 2-7
2. Carolina 1-8
3. Buffalo 1-8
4. Minnesota 3-6
They havent had a true Road test all season. Their other wins were vs:
1. Detroit 2-7
2. Green Bay 6-3 (only quality win, although this rivalry game is always intense)
Forget Cutler, forget their defense. This team just has not done anything to impress me by taking a look at what they have done this season.
Im not saying that I back the Dolphins because Thigpen is a wild card. But dont lean on that overrated defense.

You're right. Just throw out the loss at home to Rider. Wins against SE Louisiana, Bethune Cookman, UT Pan American, Wright St, and Centenary should have been enough to get them in!!

I've been doing P90X for about a month and a half. I have increased my muscle mass very quickly. I changed the schedule on it though and I do everything except X Stretch and Yoga. I do lifting DVD then Cardio the next day. I decided I wanted to lose more weight, so now i'm doing Insanity. If anyone wants to lose weight quick and gain strength, go with Insanity. I personally find Insanity much harder. I got 13 women from work to do P90x and Insanity workouts with me 3 days a week after school. The results are awesome and the lead guy encourages you and is not a pompous dick like the P90x guy. So now my workouts are P90x in the mornings and Insanity after work. It makes for a long day, but i've dropped about 12 pounds in a month and a half and have lost over 6% of my body fat. I have seen numerous videos and articles from Tony H, and he says that the absolute most important workout of the P90X routine is Yoga. So cmon Kindergarten, man up and do the Yoga!! |

can there be anymore people on Cuse?? I am a fan of this club, and believe they are the best team in the nation, but there are way too many red flags in that game. Louisville has ALOT more to play for in this game. That line spells "trap" all over it. Just my opinion |
