That's what makes script theory so perfect... no matter who wins, that was the script. |

Well that was the most Low IQ performance in NFL history... can honestly say the Ravens don't deserve to be in the Super Bowl... everyone should be fired and cut!
Couldn't imagine a less interesting Super Bowl matchup... I'll pass on betting or watching. |

How do you figure? 3 years ago (SB 55) the Super Bowl logo was green and silver. The teams in that Super Bowl were Chiefs and Buccs (Buccs won)... neither team's color was represented. 4 years ago (SB 54) the logo was yellow and silver. The teams were Chiefs and 49ers (Chiefs won)... neither team's color was represented. This whole theory is based on the past two years, and in those years, the colors did match, and the team with less color won... but also the team whose color was on the bottom won. So... based on this, if it's the team with less color, it would be the 49ers, if it's the team on the bottom, it would be the Ravens.
Also, I've seen 2 different versions of this year's logo... which is another story. |

I'd be surprised if the Ravens game is that close... Colin just being conservative on the score prediction.
34-16 is more like it |

I'm counting on this to be the popular perception going into the Super Bowl... I'll almost certainly be taking either AFC team over the 49ers, if the Lions don't beat them. |

I also remember that the Eagles played one of the softest schedules in the NFL to get to the Super Bowl, and got some good luck against the 49ers, with Purdy getting injured early in the game. I pointed this out before the Super Bowl, and people scoffed at it. This Ravens team is exactly the opposite of last year's Eagles. They've played the toughest schedule in the NFL this year. Definitely an apples and oranges comparison... |

This is one of the angles I forgot to mention in my thread... AFC North was the best division in football this year, and AFC West was arguably the weakest. When it comes playoff time, I always prefer to bet on the team that has been sparring with heavyweight beasts over the team that has been fattening up on creampuffs. |

One possible way is if the players and the teams are allowed to decide it, and the better team wins. |

I'm on the Ravens, but would admit that the scores from the 49ers game and Dolphins game were both a bit misleading. Still, they capitalized on their opponents' mistakes, and didn't make mistakes of their own. They are a very well-balanced and well-coached team. |

These look very accurate, based on what I came up with. Do you compile these rankings yourself, or use someone else's SOS rankings? |

I wonder if teams are bypassing him, or he is bypassing them. Can't imagine him going anywhere that isn't built to win almost immediately. He'll either go somewhere with an elite QB, or a high enough pick to get one. I'd rule out Seattle, but I guess you never know what he's thinking. |

Incidentally, Purdy is very unlikely to win a SB this year, but it has nothing to do with where he was drafted, and where he was drafted will not prevent him from winning one in the future, if the cards fall right. |

So you think there is something built into the system that prevents a QB's team from winning the Super Bowl, based on where that QB was drafted? But the system doesn't prevent an undrafted QB's team from winning the Super Bowl? Also, the system doesn't prevent a guy who was drafted 27 picks higher from winning the most Super Bowls of any QB in NFL history?
Are you sure you've put any thought into this?
What am I saying... ? |

The 2nd Steelers game was completely meaningless for the Ravens, but it was a playoff game for the Steelers. Putting stock in that makes no sense, but good luck with that angle. |

It won't be... even if it's against the Lions, people won't put enough stock in the Ravens to make it more than 7, especially since they will have an inflated view of the Lions after beating the 49ers. If it's the 49ers, people will hype the revenge angle... |
