Palace Station still has the whiteboard sports book where the employees have to write the numbers in, Kinda funny to still see. Also I believe the Poker Room is open 24 hours, with low limit games.
Kinda smokey and old, but not the worst place in town. |

Yea if you can run 4-5 miles a day this is not the workout for you.... More for people just starting to workout...
There are apps you can buy to track your workouts, but I just prefer the old stopwatch.. I did my first workout of week two tonight, and I am feeling prety good. For me this is something to get you started into a routine of working out. Its good to have a goal. I have signed up for a 5k in October. |

I used this workout, and ran my first 5k race last December. It worked really well. I never liked running, and was very out of shape. but doing it helped me loose 20 pounds and I completed the 5k in 35 minutes.
I kept up running and ran 3 miles twice a week untill this summer started. Having my kids out of school and doing some traveling got me out of my routine, but it's time to get back to it, So I am starting this again, with a goal of finishing my next 5k in 30 min. My wife will be doing this with me this time which will be interesting because she shattered her ankle 7 years ago, and had reconstructive surgery. Since then she has put on 40 lbs, so this will be tough for her, but I figure doing this together can only help. Take a look at the link, and let me know what you think. We survived Week 1 Workout 1. Does anyone know, can you work out 3-4 times a week without taking in any carbohydrates? I want to get over a plateua I am stuck on in my weight loss, and I beleive Atkins could help, but don't want to quit my exercise program... |

Good hit on the double NY & KC play last night! I am going for it again tonight....
Was anybody else on the Cubs last night besides me? I decided to play against Houston chasing this series. The Cubs gave up a walk off pinch hit 9th inning grand salami to loose by 1. WTF!
So I will be playing:
NY, KC double play
Cubs (B)
Maybe a play on the ESPN game, not sure yet...

Love the extra continuation system because it gives you so many more plays, with the same idea that good teams are going to beat bad teams more often then not...
