Home team 14-3 last 17. Sorry Tom, not covering 19 points here, if you win at all. |

A lot of complaining about a chance to win money for free picks. If winning a 100 grand with zero investment was easy, we'd all have a lot of money

Minn is 1-11 lately in Van. Going to have to take Van here, especially when Min played the night before beating Edm.

I'm guessing Scrivens won't be in net tonight for Edmonton, 2nd of back to back, he's the only reason they've been winning lately, last night they mentioned that the OIlers have been outshot 255 to 158, and have managed to win 5 of their last 6. But not tonight with Bryzgalov.

Betting against the Ducks at home is just plain stupid this year.

I hate taking the Leafs as well, and they both played last night, but can you EVER bet on a team that has won 1 in their last 9 in Toronto? Not a smart bet. That and the Sabers have, what, 4 wins on the road this year?

Wow, lots of overtime games between these 2. Toss a coin

Sorry, TB the night before last

I'd make sure Bishop is going to start tonight. They did win in Van last night. This game may be an oversight for TB. I wouldn't bet the farm on TB anyway, but also so very hard to bet on Calgary

Pens, I'll start considering the Rangers if they ever win a game in Pittsburgh someday

And weather doesn't play any factor, these guys don't drive themselves. Possibly the Hawks are 1/2 hr late to the rink or something, but not likely.

At first glance, Hawks for sure not going to lose 2 in a row, but never a good idea to bet on a team on 2nd night of back to back, especially in a matchup without any grudges, or point ramifications. I'm going to play 4 pools tickets on sportselect and take 2 v's and 2 H's. |

Should you bet against any team that's won 9 of their last ten? And at home?

Colorado 4-18 last 22 in SJ. Not saying Avs can't win there, but just not a smart bet. I'll take the puckline on SJ.

Don't see alot of emotions in the one with Christmas break tomorrow. History says to take Nashville at home, so I'll bet on history.

NYI with 5 road wins, but Det only with 6 home wins. Would bet on Detroit, but don't like the 5-1 Islander record against them in the last 6. Staying away from this one.

Also never bet on a team that played the night before. Not that the Jets have been awesome, but they've been awesome against the Wales conference this year. Plus it won't be fun for the Florida boys to hop off the plane at 2a.m. into -15F temp. Or -23C

SHOULD be an easy NYR victory, BUT I don't think Lundquist is playing tonight, and it just seems too easy. Gut tells me a bullshit shootout in this one.

Best way to bet on hockey is bet against the team that played the night before. Tonight for example, SJ at Min. SJ doesn't have a good history in Min in the first place, but with SJ playing at the end of a 5 or 6 game eastern road swing and played the night before, it was pretty easy money. That, and most of the time, the back up goalie plays the second game of back to back days. This year with the olympic break, there are more than usual back to back games for teams.
