My personal take is that Hill is pretty replaceable on a game to game basis. He's only averaging 2 assists per game. They can have George, Lance and CJ Watson bring the ball up the court and I don't see anyone on the Pistons that will disrupt the Pacers flow. Hill is a decent defender, but he's not the anchor by any stretch. They would miss him against teams like Miami, Chicago, San Antonio, etc, but not against Detroit. His absence shouldn't have any affect on this line. As for who do I like in this game? Pacers still are integrating their bench into the lineup, and it looks like Detroit is getting healthy, but their lineup is changing as well. I lean towards the Pacers in this matchup, but Monroe and Drummond can cause some problems. I believe this game will be close, and I like the Pacers in these close games. This team is normally mentally tough, but tomorrow night they've got the Bulls at home...could be a game where they are looking ahead to tomorrow. If I was forced to make a pick, I'd say Pacers, but a small wager. Thanks appreciate your response and input |

Any word on Hill if he's gonna play or not and would you take the pacers over the pistons in tonight's game.

Reports out of Bama camp has Katherine Webb's boy toy playing out of his freaking mind. Let's be honest guys, Bama could beat a couple of the current pro teams. I remember years ago when everyone wanted to go to USC and now everyone wants to go play for the Crimson Tide. They are loaded at almost every position and have a coach that has to be half human half machine. I have the utmost respect for the ole ball coach at Tech. I believe they have a decent team this year and will cause headaches for several teams. However, this is like the best heavyweight taking on an opponent who is stepping up in class. I could bore ya with some stats and other Bama trivia but what can I say that anyone wouldn't already know, there's Alabama and then the rest of college football. Many years ago, I jumped on the Tiger bandwagon when there was none. Expectations were low and they didn't generate much buzz. That national championship team bankrolled me for quite a few years. I kinda sorta got the same tingling about this team. As usual, LSU's main question is QB. I believe their guy will surprise and have a solid season. He has a good OL, good RBs and very good wideouts. The light bulb has finally gone on and their coaching staff vows to attack deep down field and they finally have a guy that can stretch the field. The one thing you can always count on is the Tiger D being the best part of this team. For some reason, guys who wanna attack, maim and destroy end up on the LSU D. I have a hunch TCU struggles to move the ball on a consistent basis. One other little tidbit sold me on this one. The TCU HC made a big issue out of the fact he suspended his guy but Miles went by a "team vote" That message translates in my clouded brain as to "it's not fair, that I did the right thing and he didn't". He has given his team a built in excuse and I just believed he sent the wrong message. |
